Yeah, you mentioned that as I remember... Funny thing is, we could do with a LB.... We could use a LB, yes, but Evra's experienced enough to see us through this season. Honestly think all these loans are laying the foundations for next season. Hopefully so. As many of us have said, we'll just about take this season's shite if there is a genuine long-term plan Successful loans spells for that lot and you'd be able to expect a fair chance coming with the First team squad next term.

Without being too judgmental, there was a clip of Wilfried Zaha giving an interview just after joining Cardiff a few minutes ago on SSN. The lad does not appear to have much between the ears. I'd love to know what has really been going on behind closed doors of the last few months!
I see a lot of teams are still being linked with Nani, it appears that Moyes is abandoning the idea of playing out and out wingers and going with a more modern formation. I'd expect as to line out 4-2-3-1 for the rest of the season.

Great player though so I'm not sure what the relevance is.

Maybe Moyes is making out that the selection of players were only good for sir alex but UN-manageable for everyone else? so 1) it makes sir alex look better and 2)next season when he's bought some more players in and we start playing well, Dave looks good? crafty bastard

Great player though so I'm not sure what the relevance is. A lot of people have questioned Zaha since he has arrived. They've questioned whether he has the drive, the ambition, or mental strength to make it at Manchester United. One poster on here even suggested that he had been late to training all month. My point really was that in the interview, he came across as a very laid back guy, didn't give an informative answer on why he had joined Cardiff, on Ole etc. He seemed really disinterested if I'm honest. Being a talent will only get you so far, attitude has to bring you the rest of the way. Now i Know, I am sounding like a prick and being very judgmental, but I just did not get a good impression from the lad. I'd love him to succeed at United, he has bags of talent but I just have a feeling that there was more to Moyes not playing him than we have seen.

Rio tweeted "wow.....great news......#transferdeadlineday" about 10 minutes ago.
I assume that's sarcasm and he's as frustrated as everyone else about our lack of activity today.

Bit stupid that we are weak in midfield and they loan Anderson out, and weak at Left back and sell Fabio and we don't replace either. Also odd how Zaha goes when Nani is injured/inconsistant and Young and Valencia are average to poor. Rather poor management.

Manchester United are not ruling any more business today - and believe 'three, four or maybe five' new faces will arrive in the summer.
David Moyes joked that the press could stand their cameras down in his pre-Stoke City conference at Carrington this afternoon.
And a senior Reds' source has backed up the manager's claims - but added that staff would remain at the training complex throughout the day for the '0.01 per cent chance' that something may happen.
The source, with detailed knowledge of United's transfer dealings, said: "Everyone will be around for that 0.01 per cent chance today just in case but it's pretty impossible at the moment.
"Clubs are fighting in the Champions League, for Champions League place and they are relaxed about that."
And M.E.N. Sport understands targets have been identified for the summer window and work on bringing them to Old Trafford has already started.
"I would imagine that they would bring in three but you have to balance it," the source added.
"You don't want to bring in too many and destroy the core of the team – you have to be careful about it.
"It could be a case of three in, three out, or even four, maybe more. They have to be the right players and they have identified their targets."

Sick of hearing about this big shopping list we apparently have. Its NOW that we are struggling and without Champions League football, that list can be scrapped at the end of the season. Are they that dumb that they can't realise?

So the two glaringly obvious weaknesses in our team have once again been ignored, not only that we have loaned/sold our two reserve LBs, leaving us with Evra as our only LB (Buttner doesnt count). Genius.
Is Tunnicliffe really worse than Giggs in CM? I cant believe Rene would want him if he is.
Its just as well Valencia is the best winger in World Football, I have lost count of his goals and assists, he is so good infact that he needs no competition for his place, squad depth is vastly over-rated anyway.
We are playing the worst Football I have seen in my 30 years of watching Manchester United. What is even worse than the quality of the Football is the lack of fight, the dropping of standards is scandalous. There is zero confidence. Whos to blame? Who has turned a side that have been Champions in 5 of the last 8 seasons to sub-Everton levels? Into a mirror image of his gormless self? David Moyes. Who is responsible for the worst decision in the History of Manchester United and who is too fucking stubborn to admit they fucked up big time and rectify their massive error? SAF.
Moyes claimed he knew what was needed when he arrived, he did bid for Baines but Everton wouldnt play ball which is unfortunate for us as he is the only LB currently playing Football. Two windows have passed and we couldnt even find 1 LB! Seriously?
Moyes is negative, he is tactically clueless and totally bereft of anything resembling a philosophy of play, never mind our usual exciting style that has attracted our World wide support (that isnt guaranteed to stick around for our Everton years). We need a manager that can get the best out of our players, not strip their confidence to shredds.
Moyes needs to fuck off ASAP, if Fergie doesnt like it he can fuck off too.
