Right down to the trapdoor of the Conference!
I don't know how many of you follow the lower Leagues, but I'm a big fan. Sky give it plenty of coverage and I actually reckon Alan Parry or Bill Leslie is the most knowledgable commentator they have, overall on football.
Football League Show on the Beeb is on late after MotD but worth a look as well.
So all discussion of 'proper footie' can go on in here.
First point is that I'm glad to see Owen Coyle taking over from Martinez at Wigan. They've always been one of my 'Championship teams' but can't stand Martinez. Plus, I like Coyle but don't like Bolton so when he was there, I couldn't like him. Whelan has done well to get him in, and I can enjoy watching a football club give some resistance in a rugby league stronghold again!

Only other football i go to, outside United, is Conference football - the mighty Southport!
C'mon the Sandgrounders!

I follow Alty, but they're not in the Conference. Unbeaten this season though, and smashed Stockport 3-0 the other week.

As a Mancunian I watch out for all the local clubs like Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Stockport, Bolton and Wigan. Hard to get the full stories from Germany. I miss the MEN 'pink' on a Saturday and the coverage it gave about the lower leagues and semi-pro clubs. Had to be one of the best sports supplements by a regional newspaper.

Can't seem to find a thread but I suppose this will be moved if I'm blind
Malky MacKay sacked as Wigan boss after 4 months - fuck me - did they really expect miracles from him?
The dreaded vote of confidence?

FFS. How many more are they going to get and then sack lol. 19 October 2015 Last updated at 10:28Uwe Rosler: Leeds United sack head coach after 12 games Leeds United have sacked head coach Uwe Rosler after 12 games in charge. BBC Radio Leeds understands former Rotherham boss Steve Evans is taking training at the club's Thorp Arch training ground on Monday. Rosler, 46, took charge of the Elland Road side in May but Saturday's defeat by Championship leaders Brighton means they are without a home win all season. His exit leaves Leeds looking for a sixth head coach since Massimo Cellino took over the club in April 2014.www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34570202

As above, although they're not remotely on our radar any more, the current clusterfuck at Leeds, with Rosler being sacked,to be replaced by a sombrero-wearing numpty and Chellino being barred from running the club, leaves me with a warm feeling inside. The fuckers deserve everything they get!

I know it's a premier league thread, but Evans going to Leeds is hilarious. Keep up the good work Cellino
