many interesting teams. Brazil's is harder than most are giving credit IMHO. Mexico, irrecpective of form, is a bogey team for them, and Cameroon WILL be up for that, as will Croatia in the opener.
another mention for France. who's betting they will still make a hard slog of that group? i suspect this will be one hell of an interesting Group phase (hopefully it wont be too cagey, n we will get goals)

Can we leave out all the "Hurr hurr hurr, I hate Ingurland, they're so shit, they're going to fail" stuff. It's so tiresome. I know it's very fashionable on here to hate the England team but some of us don't and do actually support them. I hate the FA and the large majority of England fans and media are tossers but I still get behind the actual team itself. It'd be nice to be able to talk about England on here without the "I hate Ingurland" brigade wading in. Much respect for this post! Honestly, it's going to be tough but it's the World Cup, it's supposed to be that way. I'd suspect we'll draw with Italy and Uruguay and beat Costa Rica. A lot will depend on the Uruguay v Italy result and/or goal difference v Costa Rica.

I would rather Moyes win the Capital One Cup in his first season than England win the World Cup. So sue me.

Costa Rica are beatable but they don't stand a chance against Uruguay and Italy. Then again, I feel sorry for Australia, in a group with Spain, Chile and Netherlands. That'll be an awesome group though. Don't stand a chance against Uraguay? Come off it.

You honestly think Gary Cahill and Phil Jagielka/John Terry will be able to stop Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez and maybe even Forlan? No mate, you come off it . England will draw with Costa Rica and lose the rest. I'll eat my clothes if they get more than 1 point from that group. I really want Brazil to win it. The easiest group has to be the one with the fucking Argies.

Dickwads from FIFA changed the rules to suit their precious France again.

I also make no apology, I don't like England and want them to fail. The media have already started making excuses ready for when they don't qualify from the groups.
No doubt it'll be some sort of scouse like excuse, instead of "well at least we've won the European cup 5 times", it'll be "well it was a tough group and we didn't get into the last 16 but at least we won it in 1966".
But ultimately "humidity" is going to be up there, even though 31 other teams will have to deal with it aswell.

England are more than capable of getting out of that draw. A draw against Italy isn't unthinkable, Uruguay are over-rated, and Costa Rica will be whipping boys for all.
