3 shot lead for Dustin now, he should get this won regardless of any possible penalty. As much as it may have also affected Lowry he wasn't playing great today, even before this farce started. It looks like the Dustin will get what he deserves, have to feel it won't be his last.

What a fucking beaut from DJ at the last. Huge middle finger at the USGA. Give me the penalty, it ain't gonna make a difference!

The Open starts tomorrow at Royal Troon. Think the big hitters are going to be the ones to watch, the course has had a tonne of rain. Saying that, in one of his practice rounds it still took Rory 6 shots to get it out of one of the bunkers! So the course still has some teeth regardless of wet conditions, as is normally the case with links courses.
I'm on Jason Day and Rickie Fowler.

Yeah, he's certainly inconsistent but has had some good performances in The Open. Wouldn't be a surprise to see him turn up and go close this week, alternatively wouldn't be a surprise to see him miss the cut either! I have an inkling we'll see the the former.

Really enjoying the golf. Especially because I backed Stenson each way at 28's before the tournament.

Looked at Stenson myself before the tournament but decided against him, was great to see him win though, quality player and a really likeable character.
Have to say it was one of the best final rounds of a major I've ever seen. The quality of golf from Stenson and Mickelson was ridiculous. If you'd have told me Phil would shoot -6 today and still lose by 3 shots I'd have said impossible.

Final major of the year starts tomorrow, the US PGA championship. Great, difficult course at Baltusrol.
Really fancy Rory this week, his tee-to-green game is in excellent shape, just hope he can have a good week on the greens. Also on Garcia, Kaymer, Schwartzel and Patrick Reed.
