I went for a driver fitting and had a chance to hit all the new 2023 clubs. Loved the new Ping G430 and the Callaway Paradym line up. I currently play the Callaway Mavrik and normally have a 228 yard drive with a 234 yard total. Ball speed 140mph and 3100 rpm and a club head speed of 95mph. The best fit for me was the Paradym X. A lower loft and spin, combined with a lower launch shaft. I was experiencing 250yard drives with 268 yard total. Ball speed about the same at 140mph, about the same club head speed at 94mph. But the ball spin was the big difference at 1900rpm. That lower launch and spin along with the Paradym technology added 30+ Yards. When the store is stocked that will be in my bag…can’t wait. The Paradym looks immense. In separate news, I just got Callaway on board as a client at work.

One thing for sure Chris is that Callaway have deep pockets to pay their bills…😏
Great company that continue to push the boundaries in technology with the industry. You have hit a home run and I hope it is beneficial for both parties.

Trying to work with the others to no avail!

Trump predicted this back in July last year.
So much for all that bluster from PGA. Embarrassing.

All this talk of staying loyal to the PGA and those fickle paramecia have sold themselves. Mickelson and co look like fucking geniuses now.

Woods turned down over £600 million. Mcllroy over £400 million.
I know these guys earn well as it is but that is a whole lot of regret they are experiencing right now

I know these guys earn well as it is but that is a whole lot of regret they are experiencing right now Doesn't matter how much they earn. 600 and 400 million are eye watering figures. I'm surprised Rory isn't taking his 7 and heading over to that parasite Monahan's house. He fucking co-opted 9/11 survivors a mere months ago when he was ranting against LIV. Cunt.

Apparently someone called Monahan a hypocrite during the players meeting in Toronto when he updated everyone about the merger. Wouldn't be surprised if it was Rory..... he is livid. He was probably the most outspoken one about being against LIV.

I’d be fuming right now, it’s ridiculous, Those that signed up to LIV are laughing all the way, they get the best of both worlds. Dirty dirty all round

Would expect to see Monahan resign eventually. He should do anyway, the treacherous snake.
Rory was far more passive than I expected in the presser today, though not sure what he can do. Suspect him and some of the big PGA Tour stars who didn’t leave will be compensated to a level of money that the guys who left received. You know, with the same Saudi money that the tour made a song and dance about not taking in the first place.
Rumours flying about today that a recent world #1 and multiple major winner was close to joining LIV. Which forced the tour’s hand to react. Rahm or Justin Thomas the two names being thrown about.
The one positive is it should at least bring the best players back together again and eventually lead to LIV being disbanded as it was never about that for the Saudis. All about getting a seat at the table at the very top of pro golf, let alone pretty much owning the fucking thing.
