Guardian saying we have ended pursuit of Kroos. Yep. Just seen that. Van Gaal's first big call.

Guardian saying we have ended pursuit of Kroos. Yep. Just seen that. Van Gaal's first big call. I'm not even sure it was a call to begin with, were we really even interested? I can't imagine him phoning from Holland today and saying "Nah, pull the plug, not keen on him." Surely that would have happened ages ago - Lord only knows what the journos were on about last night - every single one has lost credibility. It shouldn't need to be said, but even though I was skeptical I thought there might be a chance after the Bayern president's words.

Proves Journos have no idea wtf is going on with us.
I read on Telegraph LVG pulled the plug because he managed at Munich, so im guessing he knows something we don't!

LVG said in his interview that he and Ed had discussed players. So it baffles me why we would go for a player only for LVG to pull the plug. Unless Kroos was on that shortlist and and LVG made a U-turn, which I for one can't see happening.
This story is just media trying to sell papers/get hits etc.

Bob Cass retweeting that we briefed the press a few days ago we where confident of the kroos signing and now we say we're not interested. Odd this one is

Perhaps we found out he intended to renew at Bayern/Bayern wouldn't sell/he wanted CL football and the only way to save face (Ed's in a pretty delicate situation at present) was to say we're not interested anymore.
Then again, such a strong feeding of info to so many media outlets could well be United forcing the issue and making Kroos/Bayern make a move, I wouldn't hold my breath though, but stranger things have happened.
City won the league, for instance. Twice.

Sorry but if Kroos is available, we have to, have to, have to go for him. He is immense and id be very surprised if we didn't have a go. No reports anywhere that says we are or aren't interested. It's gonna rumble on.
I fucking hate the transfer window cos I'm positive that I know what's gonna happen and it's not a good thought.

I'm confident under Louis he will be 30% better than last season Trouble is, even with an additional 30% it still means Anderson is better.... He needs to be 300% better to play for us, let alone justify the package we shelled out.

Not possible Anderson is an unfit sportsman and that is a disgrace for a man on about 60k a week. Anderson's case is baffling, fellaini all day over him for me, at least we can get him on the pitch to play. On Kroos graham hunter says the player wants to sign for us, rated highly by pep and bayern offered us bastian over him, not sure what is happening now.

Three cases of elbows being thrown this season that should have been red's. They could have cost us (more) points but do tarnish our reputation. Neither can consistently put in a decent run of form and I am not advocating either are United standard. I am simply using Anderson as a benchmark. Anderson that has been loaned to Fiorentina and swiftly bad mouthed the club. I could have easily used Djemba or Kleberson as comparison's. They are all equally inept.

Personally, I hope Kroos goes to Dortmund. I know it won't happen, I just wish we lived in a world where it'd be possible.
And even I've given up on Anderson by now. It'd be a miracle if he were to come back to us and thrive under LVG. I would love for it to happen, but I'm confident that it won't.
