Our fist summer signing HAS to be new gaffer. The rest can come later. Getting Klopp helps with Gundogan, Reus and Bender EDIT: alt mate - effectively, you are saying sign half the BVB team

Won't happen. None of those managers are scottish.
If we sack Moyes, the only manager we will be able to get is Alex McLeish.

Look at that, Matic bursting past Yaya yet we weren't even interested, utter farce.

Don't get your hopes up for the summer , every time there is a World Cup the club blame the fact all the top players are away . Expect a shit load of scouting moyes at various World Cup matches then fuck all activity. Let's face it we ain't got the money and even if we did would you trust this fuckwit to spend it.

Mata said he was happy about the players arriving in the summer when he was presented as a United player. United have always done business early when there has been a world cup and this could be another example of that. Everyone knows how difficult it is to get players in January, so most of the deals worked on during the January window could well be for players arriving in the summer. I am definitely hopeful for the summer. Now we just need to secure 4th as I imagine some of those deals will only go through as long as we qualify for Champions League.

I would suspect that Mata has been lied too and we'll bring in Marlon King

Tancredi 'Bullshit' Palmeri is saying Vidic is joining Inter. Wouldn't really be a surprise, one last decent payday, nice city, slower league etc. If it does happen though I think CB needs to be a (another) priority in the summer with Rio leaving a well. We are going to be losing a huge amount of experience and we already have the young, potentially very good / world class CB's, so we could do with a experienced rock, Hummels would be perfect, otherwise one of Subotic, Garay, Godin?

With what looks like its going to happen, Vidic last season hopefully we sign a new CB or give Phil Jones the chance to step up at CB

Phil Jones is starting to concern me, I desperately hope he doesn't end up like Ledley King. A fantastically talented defender (in my opinion) but a career destroyed by endless injuries.
As for Vidic leaving, I'll be absolutely gutted to see him go but the guy is 32 now and was never the fastest of defenders when he was younger, so the much slower pace of the Italian game will suit him perfectly. Plus it'll give Smalling more chances in the centre and hopefully, if he can stay injury free, Jones a chance to cement his place in the side. Plus the exciting young Michael Keane is on the fringes so he could have a shot too.

The problem Jonesy has is that he's young and dumb and full 'o' cum. He'll become more "game wise" with experience, so he'll learn his trade and be cuter, which means he'll get injured less and less. He will learn to read the game a bit better. I genuinely see another Steve Bruce in him. Love his appetite for the game. I'm not worried for him one little bit. I am concerned though that with Vidic and Ferdinand seemingly seeking pastures new, that Jonesy would still need an experienced guy along side him, after all, next season is going to be Uniteds most important in probably 20 years, maybe more? Word on the street is that next season has already been labelled "The no excuses" season.
Huge, huge summer for us this year. A world cup and plenty of transfer speculation to take our minds off how bad this one was.
