They used to run on 35-yard line (quite like Hockey) creating a one on one contest between the taker and goalie. Needless to say this is stupid. |

I'm not reading anything that stupid. They should go back to the old offside rule.
I'm never outright opposed to changes to extra time & penalties. Still think there's a better option out there somewhere.

Straight to pens would be alright, but we need yellows and offsides...even dodgy ones, so there is something to actually debate.

Just keep things as they are, the rules aren't the problem. Instead invest the time and money in training incompetent officials that can't get simple decisions correct.
