And pay their wages? + Ando's food allowances? AFAIK Vidal is on 80k a week. Those 3 will wokr out to 200k min even if they take a pay cut. shifting those guys and getting vidal in would save us money on the wage bill. its a win win but will not happen. I was asking how will Juve afford to pay their wages?

Just remember, Shane Long went for £12m and Ross Mccormack went for £11m. Would be nice if we weren't shafted again on transfer fees whilst i agree, we have a weak hand in that we have hawked the player around for a sale, that automatically has a knock on impact on the value. traditionally we get shafted when it comes to sales sadly. also when doing part exchanges there has to be a compromise on valuations thus why they don't happen so often at the very top. hernandez scores goals, with service he will bang em in, however his all round play is not great.

But the deal would suck for Juve having to pay wages of 3 players instead of one never mind 2 are diabolically shit.

Slight problem. We are the ones who are desperate and this late in the window If we really want Vidal, I honestly think 20-25m GBP + Pea or simply pay in full whatever the asking price. No point trying to broker a good deal now.

The fact it is so late in the window, will make a part-ex a bit easier I would of thought, with there being less time for Juve to spend the cash on replacements.
Then again, they don't have Ed in charge, and can probably complete a deal in less than a month

we do need somebody in MF to actually scare opponents attackers.
attackers were afraid that robson would break them up anywhere around midfield, then they were afraid ince would break them up, then they shit themselves over keano being anywhere on the pitch. since then, they've been afraid that carrick might intercept their pass? not so much.
carvalho adds that dominating physical presence we've lacked.

I'm not aware of this. Thought it applies to transfer both ways. there's no problem selling/buying players outside the transfer window, they just can't be registered/play until the next window. that's my understanding. so theoretically, sporting can only bring in players until midnight on the 1st, whereas they can let players go to us at any time and we can register the deal before the PL window closes on midnight the 2nd. i could be wrong but that's the way i understand it. it would push along a deal if we're to include a player so sporting can register them. Ah yes. What you say is logical.

I don't think Vidal is a possibility now.. I wouldn't mind Carvalho.. He has played in Sporting with a 3 men defense also featuring Rojo.. And from what I have seen in a few videos of their games he is a hard tackler and has good vision to pass from the back.. Would not take long to adjust to premier league and will be cheaper and far more getable than Vidal..
