I so want to believe in Falcao. If there is a good chance of him getting back to his best, it's worth the risk. Even if it's a 50-50 chance, it's worth it. He is still exactly what we need, so why not. I think there is some logic to the idea that if he does move somewhere else, he will crush wherever he goes. I'd rather have him crushing in a United shirt. That said, it' really all about the formation LVG wants to use next year. 4-3-3? Who are our front 3 then? And I do not believe that Rooney should be part of any plan with Falcao. I don't know if it's the Lampard-Gerrard kryptonite thing, but Rooney and Falcao together is not a good plan. If Falcao stays, Rooney has to go because we need something very different. I want to believe. Then... believe. OK, I might then. I mean it in the sense of "despite all the evidence to the contrary, I want to believe". We just have to strike this current season from the record, and then Falcao is still an altered beast.

Football is such a bastard sometimes. Such a likeable guy, seemed to be loving it in Manchester when he got here, can't say he didn't give it his best, got plenty of opportunities to get in there but just didn't happen. Who knows what's next for him. Maybe Serie A.

So much money spent on a player who had major surgery, yet we balked at bringing Vidal in because of the same concerns.....

Will always remember him for giving me probably the greatest ever transfer high in my life. Sad that he didn't do well for us. Such a humble man and although he tried his best, we weren't the right fit for him maybe ? I don't know . I know I will be gutted when he goes elsewhere and is back to his best because it will then be obvious that form is temporary and class really is permanent.

Letting him leave is a mistake, and taking him off with half an hour left was harsh today as well.

Who knows what's next for him. Maybe Serie A. QPR and Spurs away were his defining games this season had clear cut chances in both and for some reason or another didn't take them. Hopefully he finds himself over the break and gets in a good pre-season.

Falcao was probably the greatest player we've signed in my dreams, when he signed the contract he'd already scored European Cup winners in my head - tough one to swallow this, we all wished he'd succeed.

Letting him leave is a mistake, and taking him off with half an hour left was harsh today as well. To let him stay we should release all of the other senior strikers: Rooney, RVP, Chicharito, (but not Wilson) and bring in two new ones. With two new finishers, like say Benzema and Lacazette, sure why not, keep Falcao and see if a calm pre-season will get rid of the yips. I don't think we can have 3 misfiring forwards at the club, though, as do you too probably.

Will miss El Tigre, wish it had turned out different. Got a feeling wherever he lands, the club is going to be very happy with what he will bring.
