Will miss El Tigre, wish it had turned out different. Got a feeling wherever he lands, the club is going to be very happy with what he will bring. Just as long as it isn't with another PL club...

I don't think he would do any good in another PL club anyway. He has to return to Europe if he goes (which I hope not). Berba came to us with a reputation and it never worked out. Left for Fulham and that was that with Berba, never the same and he left for Europe.

can't help but feel that if we had him on loan next season it would have suited both him and us better.
he'd have another year under his belt and we'd be closer to the finished article. but oh well

I'd be happy if United keeps him on loan for another season. He has far to much class to be wearing Chelscum colors

Its not football reasons that folk want him here next season. Falcao as a top top player again is never going to happen I feel.

Actually, it is for football reasons. If Falcao recovers to 70-80% of is effectiveness as a striker he is head and shoulders above what we've seen this past season up front.
If a good loan deal can be negotiated, I hope the club will keep him

I give you: Football reasons. Good grief...where is that player? We could really do with him... Genuinely two footed, aware and quick as you like... I think he is still there. Falcao is an instinctive player. Looking at some of those goals, I believe they are on the way to the net before he knows he has hit them. An instinctive player like Falcao that gets hurt like he, IMO he starts thinking far to much about what he is doing, and ends up out of sync between mind and body. He came to United, and while he passed medical, and was physically fit, IMO he never got mentally back to his game. He needed a consistent run of matches that he never got. There were moments where you could see his qualities, incredible first touches, great runs. etc. But his lack of consistent form, and the absolute need for LvG to get the club back to CL didn't allow for him to get that run of matches he needed to get his confidence back. Time over the summer to work on his game, pre-season tour and he could be ready to rock. Of two things I've no doubt, he likes being at United (you could see it on his face when he walked into the dressing room the first time) and if he stays at Old Trafford, he'll kill himself trying to get back to his best. Any transfer is a risk, club never for sure knows what they are getting until the season is underway. At least with Falcao, there are a lot of qualities that are already proven. Besides I really like the guy

It says something about his season at OT that I didn't even realize he was left-footed.
