Not quite as emphatic and I would genuinely be surprised if we were in for Falcao given the other areas of the team we need to improve but denials don't mean a whole lot.

Well you'd expect a club like us to keep tabs like that. Still the more I've thought about this the less likely it sounds. Even if, for whatever reason we needed another striker, Lewandowski is available in summer his contract running down. Athletico, plus third parties, paid £45mill for Falcao. Can't see him going on for a cut price anywhere, so he's be 2 or near three times more expensive.

You people are so credulous. When an agent wants to make a profit on a player, he gets the media to link the player with a move to us so that he can artificially inflate the price tag. It's called a scam. Don't believe anything until it's been officially confirmed by the club.
