Pretty sure had he lost the cup final, he'd have been sacked. I think the cup saved him plus the options out there right now are suspect. So it stands that they hadn’t decided to definitely sack him then? The press made it sound imminent but its clear now that wasn't the case. I'm convinced he saved himself winning the cup. Had we lost that final or worse lost it badly, he'd be gone. |

Wonder if INEOS will excuse a poor Euros performance because of injuries. They certainly didn't make any similar allowances for Erik.
