Danno scoring with such composure for England makes me sad on so many levels.

I feared this being Welbeck's year. As I said before I think we're going to regret letting him go to the Arse. He just put PHC in the shade!!

Danny has always looked more confident in an England shirt than he ever did in a United shirt. Won't read too much into it unless he starts banging them in for Arsenal.

If Welbeck has a vastly improved year he still gets nowhere near World Class. There's not even one aspect of his game that's top class. He's just not going to be that good. If he has a really good season he MIGHT get 20 goals. One of ours will beat that.

Yep, I surely believe he has great potential, and last year it felt like most of his errors were technical in nature, and so could be corrected with the right coach working with him. I'm not an "Expert" but it seems to me that Dano gets running and actually runs faster than his brain can react, he also has a tendency to get his head down when he is going full bore, which not only impairs vision, but will throw off balance when you bring it up No doubting his pace or willingness to work his ass off. If someone can correct the technical problems with his game I think he could be a top player, maybe go past that

I don't fear how many goals he gets or if he has a great season. I fear he does it for the Groaners, giving them points ahead of us!! We still have the problems of gelling, he has joined a settled side. All the points we lose now will hurt come the run in. We have turned 'hard work for ourselves' into an art form!!

Question is, would the club swallow their pride to bring him back if he does go supersonic?
We have all the money now so maybe.

Why not, we did it with Hughsie and look how that turned out. Probably after the club becomes a Scouse free zone once again.

Er... I just realized Jones is injured again.
I stopped checking on the game when it became clear England were ruining my accy.
Anyway, go on Tyler lad. I'd say he deserves to partner Rojo in defense ahead of Evans on current form.
