Original is still the best! Just hearing that song takes me right back to it. I can envisage every highlight, I still get goosebumps every single time the chorus kicks in, and am on the verge of tears every single time Edwin saves Anelka's penalty. Special, special night.

What makes that night special for me it was played in the Chelsea Russian Tsar's Abramovich home turf. No vodka celebrations for him that night and seeing Terry slip, the celebrations after made my night.

I was watching that in a bar in Johannesburg...I was halfway out the door as Terry went up to take the (final, I thought) penalty...heard the massive cheers and turned around to see the replay of the slip...back to the bar for another beer to watch the rest...unforgettable night...lot's of drunk singing...hugging total strangers...

As Bestie said 'and am on the verge of tears every single time Edwin saves Anelka's penalty. Special, special night.' I am the same with a big smile.

And lets not forget this fantastic video by MUTV before the Wembley final: Wow!! First time I have seen that and it brought tears to my eyes...soft git!! So many great moments there...too many to mention... Two slightly sadder things come out of that (apart from the obvious '58) and they are seeing Kiddo score for us in '68 and on his knees when Brucie got that late goal...and where he is now...really grates every time I see him... Secondly...the odd feeling I get seeing Rooney in that compilation...I struggle with him these days as he was all that was good about us for a while...commitment and talent...both have been brought into question in recent times and I find that tough...he could have been an all time legend...in some eyes maybe he will be but no longer for me...

And lets not forget this fantastic video by MUTV before the Wembley final: that's brilliant. hearing sir matt speak is great but some of the more recent clips really resonate more with me. brucie's goal and SAF/kidd's reactions, "and solskjaer has won it": probably my favourite football memory of all time, i get chills whenever i hear that clip or see the goal, scholes' reaction after the barca goal and macheda's celebration after the villa goal. this club's history both recent and way back is something to be cherished.
