Seen highlights of the Arg-Jamaica game. At least some signs of Angel getting his mojo back. Which pos did he play? Left of a front three but given freedom to roam it seems (his shot that bounced off the crossbar came from him cutting in from the right).

this Chile vs. Uruguay game is BOSS!!!! lovely football, tactics, speed of play, technique, full blooded tackles, and a little needle to spice it up.

Vidal would be a fantastic pick up for us. Box to box killer in the mold of Keano....

^he does look the business doesn't he. Might not be LvG's first choice on his transfer list, but not a bad player to end up with...

Who was it on here who wanted Cuntvani to play for us? Nope! I know you esteemed and learned gentlemen of RoM were not guilty of this, but on The Guardian and other football sites for the last world cup I read so many disparaging comments about South American football, with the consensus being that only Brazil and Argentina were worth a damn, and that England would ROFLSTOMP teams like Costa Rica and Uruguay, and countries like Colombia and Chile should go get fucked because they couldn't play at all. Well now! I think this Copa has put paid to that sort of stupid talk. They've really upped their game.

Even Suarez would have struggled to make an impact. Uruguay were on the defence from the start with 2 banks of 4, leaving Cavani to feed on long balls. However, as far as Cavani to United is concerned, a big NO from me.

He should have knocked the little shit out. There's a disgusting side of this sport that just bugs the shit out of me. Grab someones arse and then dive on the ground. I hope both his legs get broken.

The player in red practically has his finger up Cavani's arsehole. I didn't notice that the first time, just saw Cavani give him a pop in the jaw. That's some fairly gross gamesmanship.

that is such bullshit - the dude sticks his finger into Cavani's sweaty chocolate star-fish and then reacts about an hour after Cavani gives him a slap for being a cunt

The unmentioned variable for Cavani is he's going through a rough time personally with his father's situation.
to be honest i had a feeling he'd see red last night, he seemed on edge early on and it just intensified as the match progressed.

He was well within his rights to squash the little shit even without thing with his dad. He barely touched him in the end. Grown men doing Jara did is just bloody wrong.
