 Sorry, but there is absolutely no excuse for a top level striker to not get that, at least, on target. It's very fast and he's sliding. Who has ever in the history of football practised a sliding shot. It doesn't happen. You can't even till if the ball has reached his foot from that angle. This man did. |

The next frame is the ball shanking away, so it's a pretty good gamble that the ball has reached his foot at that stage. |

Would I, really, prefer someone twice Rooney's age, who hasn't played pro football since 1994? I'm tempted. |
