If the rags are true and we gave them a lowball offer of a measly 20 mil then God I'm embarrassed . he's not worth 8 times nani's value. maybe that's why we sell low, to try keep market value reasonable.

Please, please, please tell me you aren't being serious. not really, seems like the only reason i can think of though. in a world where newcastle think it realistic to ask for £30m for andy carroll (or whatever it was), there has to be someone weighing the transfer values to the ground. maybe we're the hero the transfer market needs

I take it y'all are generally impatient, ded? I've seen someone call Ed a fucking idiot regardless of who we sign for the rest of the window because he hasn't got all our transfers done on the 1st of July, even though if it was up to him it would probably be done already. Van Gaal prioritizes targets, not Edward. Now everyone in charge are cunts if we don't sign someone by some arbitrary deadline you've come up with? *back-flips into space* We leave in more than two weeks - if we offered 25m straight away they'd have moved the target, isn't that obvious? Your first bid always needs to be lower than you're willing to pay. Murmurs that we want both the Pig and Morgan S, this morning. Its good to finally here some sense.

Although it's easy to lose heart on this as it seemingly goes the way of so many other 'done deals' over the years, one thing gives me hope- in the delay between our first bid and the (presumed) 2nd one no other team is getting mentioned as being in for him. Maybe Morgan only wants Utd?

No one really knows what is happening at the other end of this deal either, might be that they are playing hardball with United, and are willing to either get their price or let Morgan S sit until his contract runs out??

Maybe Morgan only wants Utd? A while ago, he told L'Équipe he wants champions league football, nothing specific about the club he wishes to go. Maybe after the reported battle between us and Arsenal he settled his mind on coming to Utd, but counting on that and keep trying to lure Schweinsteiger out of Bayern while not acting on Schneiderlin's deal as fast as possible might be the ground to attract attention from another champions league club who tried their main target and gave up, which eventually could result in losing this deal or increase his value. Deals do take a while, we are in the pole position, we are not behind any team in the PL, but it's still worrying.

Lets see how quick the second bid comes in. The longer we wait the longer Schneiderlin might start thinking do they really want me or am I only 2nd choice in case they dont get schweinsteiger, and he might get cold feet on coming here.
