Or Schweinsteiger is the short term fix to see how Strootman fares over the next few months? Or LvG has his eye on a young player that he can have working with Schweinie that he feels will be world class. That has been LvG's "thing" identifying a young player and bringing him along. LvG has always said he likes working with young players, and I think his track record is pretty impressive Good shout Grandpa. Is there any reserves in the same mold? I havent really kept up with the reserves for a couple of seasons, just the odd game. |

Competition to enter the starting XI, cracking substitutes or replacements for injured players ie not lose to West Brom at home. Only good can come from this!!! I really hope we still sign Schneiderlin, or we will regret not doing it in a couple of years. Not as a luxury or "expecting to waste money" but Bastian has 2-3 seasons on him, time Schneidy would reach his prime |

Very good. Looks like a young Keane when he had longer hair, and those crunching tackles reminds me of him as well. Got a bit of the Scholes about him as well with the long passes. Well worth trying out in the first team. |

So it looks like Classie (good wee player btw) is on the verge of joining Soton. Most Soton itks seem to think it's the thing that held up Morgan's departure. He's been left out of Feyenoord's squad today.
