No Herrera, no admission. it was either or not that im picking anyone over anyone else i would rather start with Herrera too.but if we get both Morgan and Bastian with carrick and Herrera thats a good headache for who starts?

Don't pick Rooney, I know that doesn't solve this particular problem but don't pick him anyhoo.

I think the idea would probably be to play 1 in a 433. Rotate the two but for once I'd want us to give the 4231 a try and just let Depay and Di Maria loose Sure, agreed. I'm just not sure there's enough mobility there. Akin to the Carrick + all our CMs situations of recent years, it leaves a gap between midfield and attack as there's no one with enough dynamism to link up play when starting attacks from deeper positions. Massively frustrating. Herrera is the link man for me.

I'd start Herrera and Schneiderlin as part of a midfield two and put Di Maria , Mata and Depay with Rooney up top. I think it would do well. I'd agree with that. Loads of mobility in the middle.

From Sport Witness...#nojinx...
The Sun claimed late on Sunday evening that arrangements had been made for Morgan Schneiderlin to have a Manchester United medical and complete his move to the club on Monday. Claims regarding the potential deal had been growing over the past few days with the British press and French newspaper L'Equipe sounding sure that a move would be done.
The Southampton midfielder has made no secret of his desire to play Champions League football and test himself at a higher level and after being denied a transfer by Southampton last summer, there was little doubt he'd be on the move this time around. Schneiderlin didn't sulk after missing out on a transfer last year, instead he went about improving his game and gathering more interest in signing him.
Arsenal had been very strongly linked with a move for the player but previous claims that L'Equipe said a fee had been agreed with the London club were false, L'Equipe had never claimed such a thing.
The Sun explain:
'MANCHESTER UNITED aim to complete the £24million signing of Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin tomorrow.
Arrangements have been made for the French midfielder to have a medical and sign a four year contract to complete his switch from St.Mary’s.'
This is one claim that will be tested very quickly and Manchester United fans will be pleased if things are sorted so rapidly, given the circus developing around a possible transfer of Sergio Ramos to the club. Schneiderlin would be Manchester United's second eigning of the summer after Memphis Depay joined from PSV.

On the sky site: "We have suspended betting on Morgan Schneiderlin joining Manchester United after laying significant business as short as 1/12 on the Southampton player signing for the Old Trafford club."
Also, Manchester United photographer Craig Norwood followed Schneiderlin on Twitter on Sunday evening, offering another indication that Man United have landed their man.

Schweinstieger has apparently denied all rumors of a trasnfer.
So happy. Means we are focused on Morgan.
