REDS POST BEST WISHES FOR INJURED SHAW
A number of Manchester United players, legends and pundits have all posted well wishes for Luke Shaw on social media after the left-back suffered a double fracture of the leg during Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League defeat at PSV Eindhoven.
Louis van Gaal has confirmed Shaw will have an operation in Manchester and is likely to miss a large part of the season, although the man himself has vowed to return to full fitness as quickly as possible.
Shaw himself tweeted this message of thanks and optimism: “Thank you everyone for your messages, words can’t describe how gutted I am, my road to recovery starts now, I will come back stronger.”
