If the rumours are true then it'll be a relief to end his bizarre tenure at the club. That's absolutely nothing against the guy, I was pleased to see him join and he has vast experience, but with what happened between him and LvG (allegedly) and seeing him just lingering around the club, totally frozen out, it has been disharmonious and the club look faintly ridiculous.

With just one day to go to the end of the summer transfer window, Victor Valdés is once again in in limbo, and might well not have a club to play for this season.
Just when we was about to set off on a plane for Istanbul to finalise his three-year contract with Besiktas, the Turkish club changed some conditions in the agreement which had already been set up, reducing the initial offer, and dropping the number of years from three to two.
So Valdés will have rejected this, and now just one day before the end of the summer transfer window, he does not have a team to play for and will have to try to find a way through the negotiations with Besiktas , or find another team, as he is not expected back at Old Trafford. Van Gaal is not planning on using him, and he does not even have a shirt number.
