Crazy money for him though but can play on either wing and through the middle. Fast and strong. Could be another Depay - Far from the finished article but very exciting prospect

Said it before we would have scouted Martial extensively, for at least a year or more. That's the way our scouting system operates, we'll know what this kid eats for breakfast. We'll have a full file on the kid, also his attitude comes into account. If it's well known that he's a hardworking kid, that will attract us. Not disagreeing with you about the fee but that's the way of it these days. We've obviously seen something in the kid as a striker otherwise there's absolutely no way we'd be spending this much to bring him in. We are going to be scouting players people on the street don't know about, every club does it. |

i will make no comment on this Kid's ability, i simply had not heard of him prior to yesterday.
But what i will say is (and i know i sound like a broken record) to pay 10 Million Pounds more for a (Prem standard) unproven 19 year old in favour of buying a multiple-Champions League winning, World Cup winning, European champion (you all know who i'm talking about) is ABSURD!!!!! i dont care if this guy does the business for us in a few years, we need an immediate impact and i dont see this kid taking anybody in the first team's spot right now. (and considering he looks to be a wide playing forward, he DEFINITELY isn't resolving the Wonderbolocks problem). No Lie, even signing (shock, awe) Austin would make more sense than this transfer because at least he is a Striker proven in the league, and the outlay would be less.
so in short, LVG and Woodward have BOTH FUCKED IT!!
with that off my chest:
IF our Transfer 'Guru' manages to get this over the line (and lets hope he does NOT get on a plane for this one as we know how that will end up) Welcome Martial! i hope you turn out to be the player that all the video games predict you develop into.
Edit: when i see that pic of the Ginger Prince above ^^^ i get the impression he just heard a rumour about Woodward trying to sign another 'World Class' player....

This young kid is being touted by some (unfairly IMHO) as the new Thierry Henry,we bought another one of those a while back,whatever happened to David Bellion?
