He's a bit of a master of understatement.

Yeah its possible. Isually when I think Ballon D'or the first thing I think if is the dribbling skills of young Ronaldo, Brazillian Ronaldo, Messi, Zidane, Kaka, Ronaldinho. Rashford can't develop that skill, he doesn't have it. I'd say Martial has more of it and he's probably short of being a Ballon D'or winner too. That said you have Owen winning it and Beckham coming second twice so it's not impossible I just don't think we'll have an English one for a while. If he concentrate of goals he'll be one hell of a player and that's all that matters. Eh?! You do know he actually started as a winger/wing forward? 'Can't dribble'. Come off it. Didn't say he can't dribble ffs. He can dribble very well. He's not going to become brazillan Ronaldo though. There's no way. That guy was a fucking insane dribbler.

You literally said, 'he doesn't have dribbling skills'. So you'll forgive people for being confused. It's also vaguely daft to say you can't develop/improve dribbling ability regardless of what you actually meant.

He doesn't and I don't think he ever will. You can't improve dribbling that much because it's the most natural part of the game. It's all about how fast you can twist and turn etc. Look at every dribbler at the age of about 20 and they don't get better. They develop other parts of their game.

Speed of turn can be improved. Speed of feet can be improved. Flexibility, agility and balance can be improved. Ball control can be improved. Literally every physical and technical aspect involved with dribbling can be improved.
Totally disagree with you on this.

Most of those will go down as he bulks up and more when he loses his first half a step. That's why I think he'll end up more of a Ruud.

I think his dribbling is quite good . He won the penalty in preseason with a step over and drag back or something didn't he ? From the second goal yesterday, his close control seems to be on a high level too. Very good acceleration. The flair aspect of his game seems just right. Not too much that he becomes a showboat and not too less that it makes him predictable. The lads feet are great .
I don't want him anywhere near the england first team. He should be here in the u21 , soaking it in, scoring for fun and building confidence. He's young and will be vulnerable to the media/abu cunts and the fickleness that comes with them.
Let him stay at the u21 and enjoy it there , maybe do well with them in the international tournaments.

Michael Owen won the Ballon d'Or in 2001 without having fancy Brazilian dribbling skills or being anywhere near as complete a striker as Rashford is going to be. So I see no reason why he can't win it at some point in his career. He is in the perfect environment as we are well placed to dominate European football again within a few years when he'll be ready to take over from Zlatan as lead striker and once Rooney is out of the picture the service is going to be a lot better.

Yep. I mentioned Owen.

He's 18 FFS, let's see how he develops once he's out of nappies and gets a run in the team.
He's a joy to watch, that should be enough for now.

Vision and then the speed of that young genius, beautiful. I was watching the match on BTSport and when he scored that I just stood up, clapped my hands and said "YEEEESSSSS...." lol and I just knew there was more to come from him in the match.
