Hopefully he’ll come back stronger than ever. We really need him fit and firing.

Really pleased he’s having the operation, he obviously can’t go on playing with an injury that requires injections.

He said he might have skipped Euro 2020 and had the surgery over the summer if he'd known how little he'd end up playing. But that is the problem with Southgate. He knew Rashford was injured and struggling for form but was probably too scared with what people might say if he left him out of the squad so wasted his summer which could have been spent enjoying some R&R, getting the surgery done, and coming back fresh and ready to help us win something.

right decision for him to step away and focus on his health and fitness. time for martial to step up or greenwood to deputise
would like to see elanga & Diallo get some minutes too

The surgery and the rest should hopefully really help him out, looking forward to him being back 100%.
Guessing Martial will start the majority of the games on the left in his absence, chance number 39 for him to show his worth.
I have to be honest, others have touched on it too, I'm in the "pretty pissed off you didn't have this surgery at the end of the season and be ready for the start of the new one, instead of putting England ahead of United and going off to the Euro's" camp, but it is what it is, I understand why the prospect of a major tournament is difficult to turn down, and he wasn't 100% certain he actually needed an op.

Sounds like Marcus is very close to a return, could play in the friendly today & may even be involved at Leicester.
Be interesting to see how a fully rested & recovered version of Rashford fits into the current managers plans.
I'd wouldn't mind betting that he features in a premier league starting 11 long before DVB does.

once match fit he simply starts for me on the left. The sooner we play our first 11 the better. rashford left, sancho right, ronaldo center. Greenwood of course is the future in the central spot and if we didn't sign Ron i fully expect that he would be the number 1 in that position at the club right now
