Extension has been granted till the 6th........
hopefully the jets sell in that time and the FFA take the license off of them. Then at least we can renegotiate the deal, sure we won't get much money but the bakries gave us sweet fuck all anyway. Maybe we get enough for Aloisi's plans (surely a defensive mid (Holland) and a starting left back (Meredith/a foreign left back from spain like Jorge Casado of Ponferradina or Kevin of Panetolikos or even a player like Juan Ocampo from Mexico who would fit what we need at left back perfectly).
If the FFA takeover they need to figure out the stadium deal and bring in a CEO. For the stadium deal suncorp is a given but they need to bring the price down big time, as for a CEO, someone football minded, wouldn't mind us poaching the perth CEO for ourselves (though in actual fact he should get the head of the a-league job, he is really good and has vision).

theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/2016/05/31/cahill-says-league-future-gallopTim Cahill back at it again. He's never coming, unless he's 39 and far too old to play anywhere else. I think he'll milk that chinese money, now especially since he's being linked to Shanghai SIPG. So many in the golden generation with huge attitude problems (well in recent times we've seen Schwarz, Neill and Cahill act like eurosnobs and Neill just a twat in general)

Also Jean-Paul Marigny is going back the Victory from the Jets to rejoin Muscat as his assitant manager.
Rado Vidosic is leaving the Victory after a season. I see the brains has struck again, wonder where he goes now (money's on the Wanderers, and then consequentially they finish outside the top 6 again, he's not even that bad of an assistant, he's just cursed).

Donachie has left the Roar. no doubt because of the financial mess. fuck the bakries this is going to stuff us up next season, can almost guarantee because of this we fail to make the champions league and top 6.
Always in a champions league year, always.

So Troisi looks to be gone whilst the Wanderers do some good business. Come on Adelaide get it done and bring him home (finally, Griffin you cheap prick spend some money and make the deal happen) As for Vidosic, going to China is hardly going to put you in the national team picture (you can remain in it, won't get you in it though). But at 29 this is a good move, not likely to feature as a starter so may as well go after the money at this stage in his career. Troisi on the other hand needs to come home, go to Adelaide United (as a marquee) and re-establish yourself and chase the money in 3-4 years. Now this is a must for Adelaide, they have to make this signing, after losing so many players, bringing him as a marquee would certainly go a long way (they would still need a left back though). Also Liaoning Whowin? certainly not you lot (joke never gets old)

Spain 6-1 South Korea
Wow........
South Korea are pretty much with Australia the two best teams in asia right now. For Spain to destroy them so easily, yeah Europe, be very very afraid, that is not a good omen for you.

David Pourre in response to a petition by Brisbane Roar fans for him to replace the Bakries as owners/head of a consortium.
Couldn't agree more. Also rumor is (though ironically enough its from Luke Brattan's agent of all people) that the Bakries are ready to hand in the license as they cannot be bothered with the roar anymore (which would be a huge win for us).
Pourre has done an outstanding job really in his 4 months. He did a hell of a lot to stabalise the club during a tough period and it lead to us being one of the best teams this season (along with the Aloisi bros good work). I would love to have him back on board with some good financial backing and a long term plan to engage the community and make this club really successful and a team Brisbane can be proud of and get behind.
I honestly hope we get some local ownership, i know it didn't go great the last time, but with some proper foreplanning by the FFA (who admittedly, are a much better run organisation now than they where 5 years ago) and a new ownership group, this team could really become a profitable giant in Australian Football, as big as the Victory or Wanderers, that I have no doubt about.
Also now that Donachie is gone (linked with City, Victory (those scum always steal our players) and Phoenix (i hope he goes there, at least he starts there and doesn't become a tard), Henrique is also on the move it seems, it looks like he will be going to Malaysia.
Donachie gone is bad enough, but losing the slippery fish will be heart breaking. Henrique is the heart and soul of this club just about so to lose our super sub who has given us some of the best moments in the clubs history (and has rescued us on many a occasion) will be a devastating blow. Mind you, he is older now so at least we can recover from this.

Australia 2-0 New Zealand
much better, hopefully they go and win a medal at the olympics, or at least get top 4 (quarters minimum though, if they don't make that then the manager should be fired)

in Mens action
Australia 1-0 Greece
pretty good game actually (aside from the final third which both teams where crap).
We played our normal football, which has been very good recently, but as per usual the final pass and our finishing in front of goal is dire.
Greece had a similar problem, they had good moments with good counters which were fluid (some Ranieri influences actually) but they were horrible in front of goal.
Australia had the majority of possession however and scored in the 89th minute........ until it was struck off (like 2 minutes later after cahill had taken off his shirt and had run halfway around the stadium because the ref is blind who couldn't see what his linesman was doing, dat curve though). Anyway with the final kick of the game, it was Matthew Leckie of all people to secure the winner with a stunner into the bottom left corner to send the Aussie fans home happy. Seriously what the hell leckie usually you couldn't hit a barn door but this time you somehow struck that like a world class striker? what is this.
On performances. Nathan Burns was terrible, sorry to say this but he had no bite whatsoever and his one-on-one was a certain goal, but somehow he caught heskeyitis and put that ball wide, how i am not sure. Giannou also lacked a certain bite that he needed, now he was being targeted more by the Greek players (and rightfully so, he did play a friendly for them). Smith also i thought was good going forward, but in the back he was lacking badly, he was practically giving the greeks free reign on the right hand side (which they abused alright, most of their attacks where on that right wing) so he needs tow work on his positioning, made me remember evra towards the end when he couldn't be bothered (or just couldn't get back) after running all the way forward leaving vidic and ferdinand exposed in the back.
Degenek was exceptional though at Center back as was sainsbury for that matter, i thought Geria did reasonably well. Mile was that big bruising presence we needed because this game was really physical (both teams going at it in midfield, though mile will never be ronaldo, his set pieces were wank), Milligan was impressive also (another player who should be playing somewhere in the big 5 leagues, Burnley would be perfect for him actually, quality DM who can pass, seems like a player who fits their system as well as is well within their price range, proper bargain). Rogic was showing why the big clubs want him, on his feet he was great, though i think he was maybe trying a bit too hard, maybe trying to attract buyers perhaps.
Either way solid game, but we still need to find some help up front. We are one good striker away from being a real force not just within asia (we are that already), but within the middle powers of the footballing world.

He's right, it is a disgraceful. No excuses really to provide these paddocks, think the ffa should get their own groundsman to prepare the pitches, don't deal with these other NRL/AFL boneheads who can't even be bothered giving us decent pitches to play on.

The FFA have no balls, these stupid cunts bring nothing to this team really. Nothing, Membership numbers are going to keep declining as will our attendances until these pricks go. I actually hope they bring a second Brisbane side in, then these cunts will probably get the license taken off of them once the attendances go below 5000.
Losing Donachie for this bullshit answer is not on. Its the same shit every fucking year. Like i said before, nothing good has ever come out of Indonesian football administration, their own FA is banned because they're a bunch of corrupt useless cunts. Look at Inter Milan, DC United etc who have Indonesian influence, all rubbish. Their football team is even worse (if you've seen them play, they're some of the worst). The only positive thing I have to say about Indonesian football in any capacity is that they have passionate fan support, apart from that its all bad.
Hope and pray someone good comes along and buys it off the Barkries.

Also The Den (our active support) won't do shit either since they're a bunch of useless cunts also who can't even organise any decent active support (honestly they should put people in jail for chanting your shit arrggh).
If they had any gumption we would have a similar walkout to Sydney had, or just not go into the stadium at all and chant the whole night instead every game until the bakries go. Don't even buy a membership, if we have 3k members and only 7k people in the stadium then someone will have to take action.
I'll tell you what, i ain't going to bother going to games as long as this rabble is in charge.

Australia 1-2 Greece We where shite what else is their to say about this game really. We concede two goals in the first 20 (though the second greek goal was from halfway, what a hit btw). We scored with Sains but it was pretty rubbish to be honest. We were pissed though, it looked at one stage that someone may pull a keano and end one of these players, played pretty bloody dirty to be honest. I'd say drop Burns and hope and pray we find a good striking solution. I'd argue Giannou also better find some damn form also, no goals for club and none for country thus far, not good. Sainsbury was horrible today, i really think he needs to find a way back to Europe, i know he's getting paid well but he is far too good to be in China at this stage in his career, he could start in a big 5 league if he wanted to (ok, it would be lower end but he could start). Cahill surprisingly was pretty bad also. I can only imagine Ange having a fit after this game. We have been poor over these two games that is no lie. The lack of finishing in the final third is a serious issue. If we want to compete we need to find a proper goal scorer who is clinical. That is the only thing preventing us from being a real proper top 25 team. Thing is i don't know who could step up, go to Europe, get 10-15 goals a season and become that prolific scorer for club and country right now.

Speaking of Cahill, Melbourne City are after him? Bugger it i'll take it, just bring him to Australia, he will put bums on seats and improve our TV deal. Now ideally he goes to the Wanderers and goes home. But its better than nothing. Either way he's expected to talk about his future sometime soon (i'm assuming something something lack of vi$ion)
Speaking of which, the FFA are trying to get a TV in place a year earlier with SBS also trying to ditch a year, with Channel 10 reportedly interested in a Saturday Night game a week. Now obviously its up to Foxtel but i think they would relent. I would love that deal, but i am hoping its at least 2 games live a week (Saturday and Sunday night games). 2/6 games ain't too bad since its 1/5 now.
Also Perth Glory have resigned Diego Castro for the 2016/17 season as their marquee. If Kenny Lowe doesn't win this season he should be sacked. That lineup is stacked beyond belief.
