Cardiff away. When he said he was a good point away from home at a newly promoted side I wanted him to get a bullet.

07/01/2014.
Sunderland 2 - 1 Man United.
League cup semi final, 1st leg.
An own goal by Giggs puts Sunderland one up just on half time. Vidic equalizes early in the 2nd half, but a Borini pen puts Sunderland back in front on the hour mark.
It's a semi final. We're playing a shite Sunderland side. We're one goal down and time to make changes. We had already brought Smalling on for Evans earlier in the 2nd half, but we still had Hernandez, Kagawa and Zaha on the bench. You get two of those on, obviously.
On 74 minutes Moyes finally makes a change. Off comes Cleverley. On comes Zaha to attack the wings? Nope. On comes Hernandez to buzz around a tired defence? Nope. On comes Kagawa to get in the hole, create danger and chances? Nope.
On comes Fletcher. To shore up the midfield. To keep it tight. To tell anyone watching, "We'll take this. We'll take a one goal defeat."
Hernandez does finally come on, in the 87th minute.
That did it. I was already close to hating him anyway prior to that, but had some misplaced hope he could turn things around. That moment told me he was absolutely the wrong choice for United, and always and forever would be. When you go out of your way to keep things as they are when a goal down. You are a cowardly spineless little worm of a man.

Apparently Moyes has said that he didn't sign Maguire from Sheffield United for Everton because he had a huge arse!!

Apparently Moyes has said that he didn't sign Maguire from Sheffield United for Everton because he had a huge arse!! No, that’s not what he said. That's what I just read...I'll see if I can find the 'quote', which may now be inaccurate... Edit: Here's what I read from the Sheffield Star... “I was very aware of the players in the lower leagues and had a made good career out of bringing them to Everton – whether that be Tim Cahill or all the ones we did through the years. The veteran coach continued: “Harry Maguire was another one I recognised. He played against Preston North End at home in a league game and I watched him and thought he played really well, but at that time he was really big – he had a big arse.“You thought: ‘My goodness, how big is Harry going to be?!’ because he was a relatively young boy at that time.” Maguire's solid frame has become integral to his successes as a player, giving him the strength needed to bustle past opponents while boldly bringing the ball out of defence. He starred for England in the 2018 World Cup, and will again be testing his talents in European football with Manchester United this season. Going on to praise the 26-year-old, Moyes said: “To be fair he looks in terrific shape and he hasn't changed at all really. When I went to (Manchester) United, we had (Nemanja) Vidic, Rio (Ferdinand), Jonny Evans...Chris Smalling, so for us to go and buy another young centre half wasn't the biggest thing we needed at the time.
