This whole thing is firghtening. Bannon in the White House is a nightmare. I don't see how any of them can possibly pass security clearances they would need, unless Trump is thinking he can just bypass national security and issue a "proclamation" Am afraid that this is going to get ugly. Personally I feel Bannon isn't going to be in the frame come inauguration day. He is too toxic, even for Trump. I think he will step aside. I hope, anyway.

Fairly surprised his transition team hasn't Sarah Palin in it. It's quite funny to see the sense of detachment yet incredulity that has hit Brazil.
Now, let me take something out of my chest, as a Latin American.
We have our own Trump getting ready for 2018. Wouldn't surprise me the least if this guy went ahead with Washington's support. Maduro has turned Venezuela into a full dictatorship. Bolivia, Ecuador, Nicaragua and Honduras are hybrid governments, and I fear they'll take Venezuela's path and end up being financed by the US to do so as it has happened before. Argentina has had economical growth but I've never seen Buenos Aires as I've seen it in May, poverty and strikes taking over the capital everyday. The neoliberal politics of Macri based solely on economical growth that benefits the elites has now a powerful ally. Chile can seriously suffer economical impacts as Trump declared war on the TPP agreements and they've been turning against Bachelet. Uruguay is the only country around South America with some sense into their heads. It's a bomb ready to explode, from North to South.

I fear the same could be said about europe right now.more and more countries turn to right wing leaders and that "trend" is still growing,no signs of slowdown

As an optimist I keep thinking that if this shit keeps coming out up to the inauguration then Trump will have a complete Bi0-Partisan capital hill as all of them look to impeach the clueless fooker.
Given the money that fooker has at his beck an call I doubt that the worst is still to be revealed. I've been pissed off at some of the incredibly dumb, interventionist shit that my country has done, and I had a reputation in places where I was stationed for being totally intolerant of the lack of courtesy that some Americans show when they are outside of the US (To the point of literally bitch slapping more than one of my peers for their complete lack of courtesy in someone elses home)
But until now, I have never been ashamed of my country. Seeing that waste of oxygen in the White House makes me ashamed, it shows a mindset that I honestly did not thing was still so prevalent. I fooking well hate the kind of intolerance and racism that has been shown at all levels of this past election cycle by so many people.

Is it really such a sick and horrible place? as usually everything we hear about texas has something to do with angry white people who are in love with their guns Texas is not that bad. Overall, especially politically, Texas is a headache, but there are several cities within it that are as cool and fun as you like, filled with liberal hipsters. Places like Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas are traditional liberal bastions. The problem with a lot of Texas is the panhandle-type flat moonscape. There are a lot of rednecks, but there are also the type they call "good ol' boys" who really are gentle, humble, and polite - all while maybe wearing those ridiculous cowboy hats. They are a state that was founded with the hopes of bringing slavery to Mexico, and that strain of thought is never too far from the surface. It's a very schizophrenic place. If it weren't for the gerrymandering they did around 2004, the state would already be in the Democratic column. Texans can be very loud and obnoxious in public places, basically the worst stereotype of Americans abroad, if you've encountered us away.
