Trump will commit several impeachable offenses before his inauguration. When they make a movie about Trump, he will be played by John Goodman and Gilbert Gotfried will play Putin.

Donald Trump saying fuck you to the TPP is already the best thing he could have done for the American people and a giant middle finger to Big Corp.
This is why he was elected. To do more for his own country.

Donald Trump killing himself and Pence would be the best thing he could do for his country and the world.

He's here, elected lawfully, by people of the country. That's that. Time to move on I think. Nothing is more cringeworthy than watching all these journalists, celebrities, movie stars and other twats bemoan the election. It's been weeks now. And all of them, had a part to play in getting him elected, whether they like it or not.

The very same blowhards who complain about opposition to Trump spent eight years moaning about Obama for one reason or another. It's the very nature of opposition.

If people dont like it, then Trump and his supporters arent the ones they should be railing against, its the near 50% of the population, that didnt vote, that they should be turning their ire on. And whilst they are at it they may want to look at their election system as it is shit. And their gun laws.

Are they supposed to just sit back and accept anything he does because he's been democratically elected to do it? Every country on earth that practices democracy will have these same arguments.

Because its not opposition. Opposition is lobbying your local senators to make sure they oppose any shit Trump tries to put through. Not bitching that the elections should be rerun or that Trump and co should kill themselves.

OK then, it's just an opposition of thoughts put into words via a football forum. Not everyone is an activist, but they can still vocalise their disagreements online or anywhere else for that matter. Is that not the very purpose of forums?

The way you're talking it's as if Trump has suddenly become Dictator of the country. Just because he got elected it doesn't mean shit. There is a Senate and Congress for exactly this reason.
Like SET said, the voters who opposed him must now go after their senators to oppose legislature that isn't in the best interest of the country and the people. Raging like this is childish and, ironically, doing the exact same thing which they lambasted the Trump supporters for. If these were the Trump supporters behaving this way, the uproar would have been biblical. In this case it suddenly becomes a democratic opposition ? The hypocrisy is astounding.
Stop being sore about losing. Your party leaders let you down. Your senators let you down. Your candidate let you down. Now you're letting yourselves down.

And yes. Lobbying to change that utter rubbish election system would be a great start . Followed swiftly by gun control .
As if anything will change though ...

To be fair I'm from the UK and cannot change anything. I am just pointing out that people aren't going to just acquiesce to anything Trump does. Maybe this will mobilise them to ensure he doesn't get a second term but then again he's got 4 years worth of damage to do in their eyes.

People are protesting the types of ideas Trump is bringing into the mainstream, not the election itself. There are many people like me who will never accept white power advocates as legitimate partners in this democracy. There have been new laws introduced allowing LGBT people to be fired for being LGBT, there have been many attacks on minorities, swastikas painted on monuments, and intimidation of minorities. Many of us will never be alright with this and will never move on while this is happening. Protesting Trump's elevation of the alt-right is not the same thing as protesting the election results, and if you were paying attention and not just being an ignorant WUM you would realize this.
