The White house website is taking a hit. They've removed all reference to green energy and taken down the LGBT page.

Think it will be full on discrimination again. I have a strong urge to punch the guy at work who said "I think he'll clean up that country". |

I agree with you but the man barely sat his fat ass on the chair and already took off the tab! It shocks me how inept were the democrats in this election. The outcome was predictable (as much as Bush for president after Al Gore's nightmarish October 3rd), they didn't respect the primaries and tried to squeeze Hillary as a candidate at all costs. Something the republicans didn't do as they openly disliked Trump but respected the votes. Albeit I do not think representive democracy is the answer for our problems as nations – I am inclined to the deliberative democracy – it is the system we are inserted and the Republicans respected it. |

Hi heartbreaker. First of all, thank you for your California votes. 55 delegates less and it'd have been far worse. Allow me to say I thought Al Gore's defeat would be the worst one endured by the Democratic Party – I honestly thought the Republicans would pass through reformulation after their rejection of Trump and the monster they've created and rejected, realising they went from conservatives to political dementia a couple of decades ago. Kasich, albeit not ideal, was their best candidate since Gerald Ford, a step to get rid of the pure dementia that took over the Party. Wrong. I'm personally not surprised Trump got elected, just sad and disappointed. Far right-wing parties have grown significantly in Europe (FPO in Austria grew 51% for example), and I am afraid to say this is a global phenomenon. Venezuela, for example, went from a hybrid regime to a full dictatorship a couple of days ago. Most worrisome prospects for the international community are: • Trump–Putin partnership to support Assad, the Ukraine situation, the deal with Iran made by Obama over them attaining nuclear weapons being dismantled or restructured, the endorsement to both Japan and South Korea developing nuclear arsenals and the NATO question due to his mentioned proximity with Vladimir Putin. • The end of TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) deal and NAFTA changes. • The fear he'll really impose the punitive 45 per cent tariffs on goods from China (causing a trade war) • His promises to cancel Paris Agreements and the impacts it could have on the COP-22. A balanced environment is fundamental to put basic human rights into practice. But thank the lord Global Warming is a Chinese invention. And you still have to deal with the vast majority republican legislative that can compromises checks and balances, giving him even more power, the changes at the Supreme Court and of course, the social impact. I'm sorry for the minorities living there. My final message is to an encouragement – call out on his lies and eventual authoritarianism.  Not even 24 hours. |

Would have been oscar worthy had she not glanced up at cameras before screaming.  A great many people that were involved in the protest in DC were hired professionals. The destruction almost makes jme wonder if a great deal of what happened wasn't staged. Trump is a Muppet, and I think there are some serous bad people pulling his strings. If someone wanted to buy a few congressmen, and have the rest of the country focused on something other than what they are doing, (like taking away rights that people fought a loing time for) what better individual to have in the White House than the Orange Comb-Over Bandit?? Right now, with the oath administered, Trump has seriously becone pretty much irrelevant. Every eye in the press and in the country is going to be on the White House, and those vermin on Capital HIll are going to push agendas that are gong to create some real problems in this country. |

Trump is an ignorant fucking cunt and there's [no] chance he's making it 4 years. I predict he will resign, be forced from office, or impeached before the midterm elections. Today is a stain on the USA that we will never be able to erase. And I say this as someone who never liked Hillary and never wanted her to become President. I would take Steven Fucking Gerrard as President before Trump.
Here's what I desperately hope for all of your in countries around the world: stand up to Trump. Resist his bullshit.
