Trump is an ignorant fucking cunt and there's chance he's making it 4 years. I predict he will resign, be forced from office, or impeached before the midterm elections. Today is a stain on the USA that we will never be able to erase. And I say this as someone who never liked Hillary and never wanted her to become President. I would take Steven Fucking Gerrard as President before Trump. Here's what I desperately hope for all of your in countries around the world: stand up to Trump. Resist his bullshit. We, the defeated left, need your help. Fuck Trump! The right-wing populism is everywhere with catastrophic results to be seen in next decade

Hi heartbreaker. First of all, thank you for your California votes. 55 delegates less and it'd have been far worse. Allow me to say I thought Al Gore's defeat would be the worst one endured by the Democratic Party – I honestly thought the Republicans would pass through reformulation after their rejection of Trump and the monster they've created and rejected, realising they went from conservatives to political dementia a couple of decades ago. Kasich, albeit not ideal, was their best candidate since Gerald Ford, a step to get rid of the pure dementia that took over the Party. Wrong. I'm personally not surprised Trump got elected, just sad and disappointed. Far right-wing parties have grown significantly in Europe (FPO in Austria grew 51% for example), and I am afraid to say this is a global phenomenon. Venezuela, for example, went from a hybrid regime to a full dictatorship a couple of days ago. Most worrisome prospects for the international community are: • Trump–Putin partnership to support Assad, the Ukraine situation, the deal with Iran made by Obama over them attaining nuclear weapons being dismantled or restructured, the endorsement to both Japan and South Korea developing nuclear arsenals and the NATO question due to his mentioned proximity with Vladimir Putin. • The end of TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) deal and NAFTA changes. • The fear he'll really impose the punitive 45 per cent tariffs on goods from China (causing a trade war) • His promises to cancel Paris Agreements and the impacts it could have on the COP-22. A balanced environment is fundamental to put basic human rights into practice. But thank the lord Global Warming is a Chinese invention. And you still have to deal with the vast majority republican legislative that can compromises checks and balances, giving him even more power, the changes at the Supreme Court and of course, the social impact. I'm sorry for the minorities living there. My final message is to an encouragement – call out on his lies and eventual authoritarianism. www.whitehouse.gov/energy/climate-changeNot even 24 hours. Literally everything we've been wortying about while people probably thought I was being hysterical is being enacted in the first 24 hours. Luckily that's all internal stuff so far. Sorry America. The big stuff will take a little longer. He's going to try and split Europe. Trade battle with China and then watch as Russia goes full on Crimea. That's when shit hits the fan.

The west has been losing it's mind for the last 4 or 5 years now. This race back to nationlist politics is worrying and spreading fast, just look at today's meeting of every European right wing party in Koblenz Germany These parties are doing incredibly well in elections now and Marie Le Pen has a real chance of being the next French president, ultimately meaning a referendum of it's EU membership will be on the cards. The future of the EU can't be any more fragile in my opinion and made worse by it's arrogant leaders who can't see the need for compromise and real change on Immigration policy. Trump worries me because he is completely unpredictable and reactionary, which is a bad combination for a leader who holds command over the largest military in the world. Just look at his appointments for managing energy policy, Israeli ambassador and for environmental affairs. They have all criticised these departments they intend to lead.

And on France, it gets closer to a referendum (Frexit) no matter who wins. Not many members of Le Pen's opposition are against it. Whether or not the French would vote leave is another story. There's a general dislike of the EU around here but they still resist to leave. Le Pen would just push it further. Also, hearing her praising Trump live on TV was bitter.

So I just listened to Trump's inauguration speech... I really can't believe people buy into his shit... This part "Today's ceremony, however, has very special meaning because today, we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the people." just about made me choked on my breakfast when I heard it.

That was the flattest inauguration ceremony I've ever seen, never mind the best attended. Clearly a massive whopper from the new Press Secretary. Start as you mean to go on etc.....
