So I just listened to Trump's inauguration speech... I really can't believe people buy into his shit... This part "Today's ceremony, however, has very special meaning because today, we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the people." just about made me choked on my breakfast when I heard it. Probably because you already heard Bane make that promise five years ago. |

Can't help but wonder what the world will look like as my 8 month old son grows up in it. On one side you have a fear mongering buffoon and his cronies stirring up emotions in the world's lowest common denominator. On the other hand to you have millions of people standing up against him. One thing is for sure, all the free thinking, thoughtful, and progressive people in the world have a fight on our hands. One in which I don't think we can finish second.

Can someone explain to me the purpose of this 'womans march'? They all synced up or something. Just a plain old peaceful protest to show they aren't happy with who is president. They know nothing will be changed immediately but also show they aren't taking it lying down. Very cool imo. |
