I thought she was getting locked up for it? That was babble, and not ever likely to happen since they investigated her prior to the election an found no wrong doing. The FBI director knew this when he made his little cryptic announcement about the investigation. It definitely hurt her. Not with Dems, who did not turn out to vote, but it did bring more of the right wing droolers out from under their rocks, this last election cycle made the US a laughingstock and deservedly so. Thing worries me is that Trump is doing crap like actually talking about building the wall, Never fly, and the fringes that are going to get riled up are well armed, and gun laws don't cover emotional stability or stupidity. EDIT** Add to all this the bit about Mexico being "forced to pay" and it becomes even more worrying. I know about "Police actions" and I have grandkids and nephews that are draft age. It has been shown that the asshats that buy the pols are quite fond of seeing the "Machine" gear up with the raising of the alert level. Trump and his banning refugees, "the wall" and god knows what else he is going to come up with, is pandering to a lot of people who value a buick over the life of the young men an women in Uniform. THE FUCKERS! (Yes Bestie, I do know how to spell it, just don't like to use it, a personal thing)

If all politicians kept their word like trump, we wouldn't have come to a situation where we've got trump .
Amazingly ironic.

If all politicians kept their word like trump, we wouldn't have come to a situation where we've got trump . Amazingly ironic. If the average voter in this country understood how our Government worked, it would be readily apparent that 99% of their promises can be kept without due process that is not something that can be "promised" It is why the education system has all be cut out anything resembling American History (such as it is in such a young country) and Government is not taught, ot what is is nothing but the most rudimentary bit of fluff. My Country has been getting dumbed down for a long time now, it is exceptionally saddening. '

Hillary using a private email server was very stupid and irresponsible. She deserved censure for it and was heavily criticised in the media. Whilst I would not go as far to say as it made her unfit for office, I would say that it deserved to be a black mark on her record and it did become one.
Trump's beliefs and intended actions are significantly worse in almost every way.

I thought she was getting locked up for it? Hillary's issue was multiplied by deleting the said emails when she got found out... 33000 wasn't it?

The Democrats/Hillary blew it, there is no way of excusing it. The biggest block of people who didn't vote who would have voted Democrat were Latinos and Blacks. If Hillary couldn't get those two groups out to vote with Trump as the other option, plenty of blame has to be laid at her doorstep. They blew it but they didn't vote for him. How about a little blame for thise guys. They seem to be exempt. What guys? The people who didn't vote? I blame them too.

Every fucker who underestimated trump and was lax about the whole election needs to be blamed. If you thought "ain't no way this will happen ", and didn't fight hard enough against it before , you need to be blamed, because your protests now will yield a grand total of fuckall. You fucked up by not doing everything in your power to prevent this and by not taking him seriously.

I meant the people who voted for him. Everyone on here seems to blame all this on everyone except Trump himself and the people who voted for him. Maybe that just goes without saying.

If they didn't want Trump in office and didn't go to polls to insure he didn't win then they are asshats, simple as. Apathetic turds.
Personally I figure I earned the right to vote, an I take it seriously, lot of work goes into just getting to the age of voting, should be damn well proud and taking THOUGHTFUL advantage of it.
Damn sheeple, to much work to try an look at what is going on in the world around them, and most convinced by now that they can't change it anyway, asshats stealing us blind on capital hill gotta love it/

Wanting to feel secure about their future ? Wanting to feel like those who are sitting in their high thrones , funded by taxpayer money, actually give a plebbing shit about the people paying the taxes ? If you're telling me , that around 45% (?) of America is racist/xenophobic/homophobic/sexist/islamophobic , and they are the reason that Trump won, I'm not having that . Because if that many people are such cunts, then there are more pressing problems with American society and the president is a mere reflection of that . I'm still of the opinion that those who could have done something about it , didn't do enough , to stop this madman. Starting from the person who decided not to vote, all the way up to the Democratic party leadership .

Well said, I think the problem is that people don't give a damn as long as things aen't burning down around them. A large majority could not tell you the issues in my experience, and could not tell you what their preferred candidate was suggesting be done. Trump never offered a plan and far FAR to many people didn't care one way or the other. "Been a republican all my damn life, my daddy an his daddy were republicans and I tick the box that says vote the party line on the ballot. Saves time an pencil lead filling out those boxes. " I have heard that kiind of thing said from people from both parties, it is freekin insane.

Go back to the 1960's and 45% would have been openely racist. Same with most places. More than that would have been xenophobic, more than that would have been homophobic. Even more than that would have been sexist. Not long ago. Trump would remember that time well. Maybe even thought it was great. Maybe he actually knew what he was doing by tapping into that. Maybe that might be part of his end game. This kind of thinking scares people. It can escalate real quickly. I'll leave you with that because I've said all I can say.

This kind of thinking scares people like me. It can escalate real quickly. I'll leave you with that because I've said all I can say.If you had attended a Trump Rally, or one for Hillary you would have seen some seriously deranged individuals, hell, when that airhead Palin was part of the ticket people were openly carrying guns to the freekin rallies. 60's openly racist is right, remember George Wallace? there is still a "generation" of people in Alabama that revere him. That is not something that "goes" away, it has to die out and hopefully be replaced by people that understand that learning about different people and cultures is rewarding, instead of being piss in their pants scared by "different folks" Racism is very much about "fear" imo
