I have about 320 quid in my pocket each year more than my (non-elected) government wants me to have. Not much but better to spend on my kids than give over something twice. Because these hungry bastards wanted us to pay water charges. Which we already pay in property tax. The reason I and no one else here pays them is because we marched, protested and made enough noise for it to become an election issue.
In your original post you said 'bad enough in America' Why?

Totally agree with your first point. As I said if its a worthy cause then I'm behind it, didn't say all protests are stupid. As for my OP the "bad enough in America" comment was more aimed at the type of protests rather than the reasons for wanting to protest. These feminazi protests and the protests about his appointment are daft IMO. However protesting over some of his ideas and proposals I can understand because they are things that will affect them. If people want to make a protest over something then that's their choice. Just feel in this day and age that 90% of those people protesting are brainwashed into doing so and follow others.

I sort of see where you are coming from. I will say this: if you didn't vote then you can stay the fuck away. That shit drives me crazy. It's a particularly Irish thing, moan about everything and then do fuck all when it's time (it made the water protests such a surprise)

I did vote though. Always believe in having your say whether you believe it gets listened to or not. Not just Irish mate, we've got it over here as well. We all have a moan and whinge, especially when it comes to ours and our families livelihoods but its the people that do so and dont vote that do my head in.

I always vote no matter what, our postal vote forms comes through our front door, I will sit down with the wife and talk about what the vote is about, she will then vote for whoever and then I will do the same then post the forms off, our son & daughter do the same thing. We will all have a moan about whatever but just don't sit back and do fuck all after moaning about it, that's what voting is all about, I have had many an argument with people who moan about this or that and they always say "Whats the point in voting? nothing will happen anyway" you have to do something without just bloody moaning about it.

Why is he trying to piss off Australia. Does he want us to side with China when the inevitable conflict starts?

All strategy went out the window with this one. Australia has been important to the U.S & have no reason to keep taking their shit. Nothing but ego here.

Nothing but ego here. I've been a lot of places, and TBH, never found another but Oz that I would drop everything and live and do so with happiness. Not so much the "politics" which I know diddly squat about, but because of the people. An I'll say straight up, outside the godamn cities here, in most areas of this country, like here in midwest, the people are fine, and welcoming and just flat out good folk. Pretty much that way everywhere I've been with exception of France, and perhaps it was just my "experience" that soured me. Please, remember, the political situation with the Electoral College put this maniac in office, and the majority of Americans have no use for him or the bownshirts he has surrounding him. My attitude towards Oz is mirroried by everyone I know that has been there, and while I generally despise the way Americans in general act when outside the US, most I have seen in Oz fall into the lifestyle and the way the people enjoy life without acting superior or with muppetry,

Jesus watching all these twatbadgers in the major cities (London and Cardiff to name two of them) planning and taking part in protests in the streets about Trump becoming president, need to get a fucking hobby the sad cunts. Bad enough in the USA but seeing it in the UK is ridiculous. Although I did find one sign particularly amusing that read "Fuck off Wotsit Hitler" Yes because political protest has never, ever worked. Now I'm off to watch a couple of documentaries 'Why blacks still sit at the back of the bus', 'Why chicks don't vote' and my own favourite 'How America won the Vietnam war.'Having been there, would be interested in seeing that one, not much of a fucking win in my personal point of view.

Why is he trying to piss off Australia. Does he want us to side with China when the inevitable conflict starts? Don't think he would start a direct conflict but if he's to go on a trade war with China, pissing off the BRICS is not the way to go.
