Because we treat them like shit in order to discourage people smugglers. What? Gimme some context, I don't understand that at all. You're saying Australia is a hotbed for human trafficking ? So say in the u.k people hide in the back of lorries in Calais and come across, they can't do that in Aus. They come in boats and they get a very dangerous ride. People smuggle them in, most will get caught and sent to a shitty little island while they get identified. At that point they'll be let in or preferable to the government someone else will take them. Think it's often Indonesia. Obama agreed to take them. Trump is now seen over here as breaking a deal but worse it he seemed to insult the P.M. the P.M hasn't denied it either but does say Trump didn't hang up on him, the call just ended early. This is different to Trumps refugee ban as the refugees were legal and pre accepted. The guys were never vetted because the Aus government never knew they were coming so I don't mind the fact they try to not take them but they need to sort out how they accomodate them etc.

If Australia doesn't want them, he can very easily ask why should America take them, and he would have a point. The same reasons why Australia wouldn't want them, hold true for any other country. But they need to be sorted out .

There will be weeks or months of talk now about what have we got from all our dead soldiers in Vietnam and Iraq etc. The answer is absolutely fucking nothing. Then this dickhead opens his big mouth and announces it in front of the whole world. He doesn't understand the impact of diplomacy. On top of that our dealings with China have been beneficial and Trump is insisting on pissing them off too.

Re the violent protests at UC Berkeley , those people should be bloody ashamed of themselves.
A protest loses all value and purpose when it becomes violent. Those people who started the rioting need to be locked up. They are a disgrace to the message of the protest and a disgrace to the people who stood there peacefully , getting their point across in the correct manner. That unnecessary violence can have very bad ramifications for the protests happening in other places in the country.
Fucking tools.

On top of that our dealings with China have been beneficial and Trump is insisting on pissing them off too. It was to be expected that he would rip up everything agreed before and start from scratch. No prior agreement is safe with him in charge. New agreements will be made, or no agreements will be made. The idiot doesn't realise he could end up having the entire world unite against him. China must be wondering how in fuck they got this lucky. They can, and I suspect will, capitalise on this fool and increase their reach and power worldwide while this man focuses on burning bridges.

Yes because political protest has never, ever worked. Now I'm off to watch a couple of documentaries 'Why blacks still sit at the back of the bus', 'Why chicks don't vote' and my own favourite 'How America won the Vietnam war.'Having been there, would be interested in seeing that one, not much of a fucking win in my personal point of view. What was your job there?

Is this real?
“You have a bunch of bad hombres down there,” Trump told Pena Nieto, according to the excerpt seen by the AP. “You aren’t doing enough to stop them. I think your military is scared. Our military isn’t, so I just might send them down to take care of it.”

The cartels in Mexico and Colombia are worse than probably any warlord this earth has seen. I have always maintained they should be handled with extreme and unfettered prejudice. It's not untrue that a lot of bad shit has seeped into American from them. It's also not untrue that a lot of that is because America is such a willing and riper market to peddle that shit. If Trump wants to firebomb those demons, I am all for it. And so should the Mexican president. Eradicate them.

Cartels in Latin America are ingrained into governs and the higher classes, nationally and internationally. You can exterminate those, who stick out, the bottom part of a complex pyramid. Soon others will appear as quick as you can imagine. The called 'chiefs of traffic' are a part of the bottom. Extermination is a very common practice of the polices (not only but also) in Mexico. Shoot before asking. It has aggravated the problem. Yet the most popular solution is "there no way other than kill them" – he will have support of his compatriots and even from the Mexicans too if that's the case. Cartels should be handled but insulting leaders will bite him in the ass later. Actually it sounds like an invasion threat.

That's just offending the leaders if Mexico and Aus on the same day. But I get what you're saying. Cartels affect the U.S badly.
