Polls are done btw. Whatever credibility they had is finished. They were hilariously bad. The most reliable one had her winning Wisconsin by 5 points! Yesterday!!!!

Bang on.
People will look at polls now like a venereal disease.
Never. Again.

Regardless of what happens over the next 4 years, it is going to be fun listening to his excuses for not building the wall.

Regardless of what happens over the next 4 years, it is going to be fun listening to his excuses for not building the wall. On November 9th 2016, I was elected President of the United States...on the anniversary of the toppling of the Berlin Wall. I'm here to build bridges, not put up walls. Nailed it.

I've always thought the USA should be at least 3 countries - East, Middle & West. That way the coasts can get on with it whilst the backwards middle is left to die on it's arse, with only Texas even keeping it afloat.

I'm just clutching at straws here... but can any good come out of Brexit and Trump's win?

Plenty of good to come from Brexit, and the thousands of whinging Remainers comparing it to the election of Trump are pathetic.

I briefly went through the Brexit / British Politics thread, and think it best not to open the can of worms here. I think by saying that, it's quite clear on where I stand, and I respect the outcome of the vote. Although I think most of us will agree that the campaign that was ran were rather uninformative, and at a lot of times, based on very misleading information, shoe-horned by some of the most questionable people in today's politics.
Getting back on course with the topic - Trump's victory... what do you think will happen in the following 4 years?

I'm just clutching at straws here... but can any good come out of Brexit and Trump's win? Too early to tell with Brexit. But I think Trump is going to completely change the political landscape in America. The Republicans have a president most of them hate, and the Democrats fucked up so badly that it's hard to fathom. They did what many thought was impossible and lost to Donald Fucking Trump. Both parties need to make serious changes to avoid another shit show, hopefully for the better. A lot of young fiscal conservatives don't care about traditional conservative topics like religion, sexuality, abortion, military, and whatnot. And the popularity of Sanders shows there is room for a genuine political left wing in America. If either or both parties don't change with the times to accommodate these voters, there could possibly be the rise of a third or even fourth party to challenge the establishment. I feel now is the time to point out that I'm half pissed on a Wednesday afternoon and literally don't have a clue what I'm talking about, I'm just speculating.
