What's this Stone Cold thing all about? Awhile back when there were pro and anti Lingard factions, someone in the pro camp called him a "stone cold finisher" or something like that. And then he proceeded to shoot high and wide. Stone Cold became Cold Stone (like the ice cream shops) and finally a laughing reference to someone I still like but who is definitely not a Stone Cold killer on the pitch. Cheers. I'd seen it used and I was praying to god it was ironic! |

A win and nothing else, I am fucked if I want to go through another season of bloody Thursday night Europa League football again, let us all feel sorry  for the gooner supporters who will have to go through the Thursday night syndrome of the Europa after 20 years of Champions League football with or without their beloved Wenger and not a top-four finish for the first time in 20 years. Bring on Wednesday night squeaky bum time or not.  |

A Chelsea mate phoned me just before he stepped up to take the peno, presumably to gloat. My home system was rigged with an amplifier connected to the TV so as soon as he ran up to strike it I switched off the TV to avoid seeing the celebrations (as one does), but the sound remained on. Looked at my phone as I watched VDS in full celebration - he'd hung up, haha! Anyway, still think Ferg deserved at least one more big one, two finals in which we somehow managed to hardly strengthen the side and that Nani red. Ugh. |

To lose this is unthinkable I've heard Ajax have been playing well this season but not seen them play, we are far from having our strongest side available but if everyone lifts their game to the highest level we will win it. Iv a feeling it will go past the 90 mins, feeling nervous and rambling aimlessly.

and its strange as its the first time i get to see my beloved united play a final against one of my "other clubs".as some others in here,i've been supporting ajax for more than 20 years now.
nothing but a united win is what i want and wish for but i will feel a tiny bit for ajax.
i hope we win it without extra time and penalties.no heart attacks,no drama,win this and let us enjoy our summer

If we don't win this the whole season has basically been a disaster. I say if we don't win we blame it on Ded for creating this thread and ban him from all future thread creating. When we do win, I should create all future threads. Redcase and Bagsy in the poll. It's nailed on. |
