Hey lads, Haven't been active for a while due to shit loads of IRL reasons so I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right thread. If I'm not, feel free to move the post or point me in the right direction. I'm from Macedonia myself and this will be the first United game I'll watch. If anyone from this board is coming, feel free to let me know if I can be of any help. I'm not from Skopje so I can't help with accommodation, but maybe I can help out for some logistics stuff. I booked a hotel room myself the moment we won the Europa League for whooping 300 euros a night thinking that I'll be in the same hotel as with the United staff but at the end it turned out that bloody Real Madrid will be there   Turns our that is not expensive since the prices skyrocketed shortly after. Anyway, hoping for a great night and a big bloody win so I can gloat over the Madrid mob during breakfast the next day  welcome back mate.i hope you'll enjoy tuesday and the lads win it |

Honestly, I'll never really 'take' a loss, but in this one as long as we don't get spanked I won't be gutted. This Real team are the best I've seen in a few years (since Bayern 12/13 at least), have the greatest of all time (IMO) in the side and are where we should strive to be. Hopefully, because their pre-season started a lot later, they aren't up to scruff yet and we can do them. But as long as it's not humikiating I won't be too gutted. Ronnie won't be playing this one, he's been given an extended rest He's in the squad you liar! |

Uefa will introduce two separate water breaks during tomorrow’s Super Cup match between Manchester United and Real Madrid if the hot weather in Skopje continues. José Mourinho and his players are due to land in the Macedonian capital this afternoon ahead of tomorrow’s meeting with the European champions at the Philip II Arena. They will be met by sweltering conditions. Temperatures in Skopje are expected to reach 40C this week, which has led to concerns about the players’ health. Uefa’s match delegate will gauge the temperature at the stadium 90 minutes before kick-off and if it exceeds 32C, he will implement two “cooling breaks” at the 30 and 75-minute marks. Both will last three minutes. Uefa can also instruct the local organising committee for the match to have umbrellas to protect the players from the sun at the side of the pitch and a large ice bucket full of water bottles at the side of the bench for the match. United and Real Madrid will train at the stadium this afternoon, when temperatures are expected to hit 37C. Cristiano Ronaldo, the former United forward, has been named in the Real Madrid squad for the match. The Portuguese, who was linked with a return to Old Trafford earlier this summer, has not played for Real Madrid since their Champions League final win over Juventus in Cardiff in June. KO is at 8.45PM there so should be closer to 25 by then. It's still going to be tough on them |
