Come the end of this month and spud and chelsea have been played i very much doubt that gap will be 2 points i think it may well be 6 or so i cant see him changing the way we play in them types of games. last year i could see jose not wanting to get beat but this year fortunes have been spent hes got his team and he realy should of trusted the lads to go out and win, We're by no means a one man team, but Pogba missing had really taken an edge, and confidence from our game. That fucking LB spot needs sorting too. Shaw can do one for all I care now, if he can't get in ahead of Darmian or Young then he's fucked. Yeah we realy did miss pogba and maybe with him in there it might of been a diferent story, the way he would of set up. Yeah im not arsed about shaw myself tbh i think its best for all partys to move on quickly he realy should be banging on that door to be playing. We need to follow citys lead with that and go out in jan and get a top attacking full back, i think walker already has 3 or 4 assists for them this year

From RAWK. Just a wee taster: ‘Well played Redmen. We play football. City are probs better than us atm. But those twats in grey are NOT May well be a race for second this season. My money is on us’ This is why I wanted us to win. To shut those cunts up.

Still seething. Still not buying this 'form goes out the window in these games' and the rest of that crap either. I'm a defender and appreciate top class defending as much as anyone but Manchester United going out to draw any match especially against an inferior team is unacceptable in my eyes. It's different if you go out to score then defend, but we didn't even try. Don't know if it was entirely down to the manager or in part the players. Matic looked knackered, Herrera was awful. Mkhitaryan as I have already said was pathetic. I'm done with him to be perfectly honest. Said it when we signed him, he's lightweight and mentally is a shirker. Fuck off. Says a lot that I prefer Lingard, at least he'll run and fight for you. Ashley Young as right winger was suggestive that it's mostly Mourinho though. Feels like a loss. Preach.

Herrera was miles off pace . Second to every ball, bullied by their midfield . Thought this was his chance to shine. But people are now talking about how much we missed fellaini. Ffs

In an exclusive interview given to Telefoot, José Mourinho announced that he would not finish his career at Manchester United. Mourinho will continue his career after Manchester United
Asked about a possible arrival in Paris Saint-Germain one day, José Mourinho explained that he would continue his career after passing to Manchester United.
" The only thing I can say is that I am still a coach with worries, with ambitions and with the desire to do new things ."
" I'm sure I will not finish my career here (at Manchester United, Ed) ."
On the PSG: "It's fantastic"
" My son who lives in London went to Paris to see a Paris Saint-Germain match and he did not go to Manchester. "
" Why Paris? Because there's something special. Magic, quality, youth, it's fantastic ."

The thing with Mkhitaryan is that he typically does nothing for most of the game, but somehow manages to nick an assist out of nowhere (or at least, has done so several times this season), which is why I think Jose is sticking with him. He's definitely played very poorly in most (if not all) of the big games that he has participated at in the league for us. It's not just Mikhi though, yesterday some of our players had their the worst individual displays that I've seen in a while (probably since Chelsea away last season) and I think that originates from the confusion of being instructed to dig deep and just try not to concede. Considering how City approached their away game at Stamford bridge makes the difference in philosophies for these sort of encounters quite clear, especially because I know with almost complete certainty that when we play there ourselves we will witness an attempt to play exactly the same.

He's young in a managers lifespan, wants to manage Portugal at some point. Also, look at the 'translation', it's fucking wank

That interview transcript does seem really weird. Totally against all the stuff about Jose saying he wants to be here for ages - didn’t he even say once he thinks he could outlast SAF’s record? I have seen him say he wants to manage Portugal which is fair enough, but fluttering his eyelashes at PSG would be really weird.
I don’t really trust the translation though so going to say it’s probably very different in tone of what he’s saying than what it seems like there.

I still see striking similarities in the early 90s Fergie sides development and this one. Won an FA Cup, won a Euro trophy, strengthened the side, challenged but fell just short in the league through fixture pile-up and injuries. Leaving aside style of football (which until yesterday no one had much of a problem with bar the 2nd half of Soton), the thing that got that side over the line finally was Cantona, because of his mentality, arrogance, call it what you will, but mostly his ability to turn a game with a piece of magic. I said it yesterday and I think it becomes clearer in the big games- we still need that final piece. I think you have just described Zlatan.
