I'll accept the Liverpool shit show if we win these games.
Huddersfield were good, very good and denserved it but we offered nothing.
Worst time for me to watch a Scholes compilation. The amount of times he created an assist out of nothing is infuriating now.

Im fucking angry this morning, that should have been a 25 mile trip over the Pennines for a points snatch instead of a limp wristed roll over against a shit team that offered nothing more than 100% effort and little in the way of skill.
Mourinho needs to sit the team down and ask them who has the balls to play for United, if he doesent get the desired response for the rest of the season he should show them the door.

It felt like we were outfought yesterday, which is strange as we'd been showing such verve in the weeks preceding the Anfield debacle.
Begs the question whether resorting to such a negative approach for that one game has now leached into the groundwater?
Annoying loss, can only imagine Klopp gave Wagner some helpful insights in how to beat us, too.
"Try hard to score, they defend really well."

I've been thinking about this tweet because it really does appear that something like this is enough to destroy a squad.

I've been thinking about this tweet because it really does appear that something like this is enough to destroy a squad. As I've said before he's not an innocent party in all this, he's as much to blame as the players. People Dont seem to see it that way though and seem afraid to even question his methods. I dont care what he's won before coming to united. Its what he does at united that I care about. Last season had its ups and downs, this season we have to build on that. You cant build on negative football with more negative football. How much more money do we have to spent to finally click. We all take the piss out of city's spending, but its working for them this season and you certainly dont see them sitting back and defending a game. They're doing what we should be, scoring for fun, even against the bigger sides. We started the season on fire, scoring plenty when we weren't even playing that great but it seems to have gone to shit. Injuries have taken their toll yes but you cant blame injuries for yesterday and even the way we set up against the dippers. Mourinho has a big part to play in all of that. No im not asking for his head, but he does need to give it a wobble and sort the shit out, as Bestie said you know...do your job.

If Jose is clever he’ll bin the League Cup during the week. Matic looks fucked. I know there is new boy syndrome going on so he doesn’t get much criticism but I thought he was pretty shite today. It’s understandable as he’s wrecked. The only first team players I want to see are the likes of Miki, Lingard and maybe Mata for a bit of guidance for the kids. We are perilously stretched with injures and a number of the 1st team are out on their feet. We won the thing last year, we don’t need to in it again. We need as many fresh players as possible for the game against Spurs. Really interested to see who starts this game.

Appalling that. Another record broken. 65 years since they beat us. How many times have we played them in that time? That doesn't make it any better. We haven't played them because they are shite. We just lost to shite.

Still trying to piece together this debacle. Was it the "display" at Liverpool? Or the away leg at Benfica? JM "flashing his knickers at PSG" ? (as someone here brilliantly phrased it.) Was it the team realizing JM didn't trust them against Liverpool? Who knows. Point is, we should have set out to destroy a vulnerable, suspect Liverpool. We have been unraveling since then. Read about Spurs v. Liverpool today: www.theguardian.com/football/2017/oct/22/tottenham-hotspur-liverpool-premier-league-match-report . Among the many things in it that bear repeating: • Mauricio Pochettino’s team marauded through what passed for the defensive efforts of the visitors. • Both teams were buoyed by eye-catching European excursions and hoping to use that as a springboard to build domestic possibilities. • Tottenham’s positive energy flowed. • Jürgen Klopp confronted the statistic and looked momentarily lost for words. • Tottenham returned... intent to test out Liverpool’s main area of vulnerability. With the visitors’ back line struck by a state of severe confusion, this was a wise and rewarding plan.

I won't even complain about refereeing in the post match anymore. It was Lee Mason. To be fair, bad refs are spread in every league and every level of football. Using this excuse to not go through Huddersfield with our squad is a very scouse thing to do.
Mkhitaryan is flat. We got fooled by some displays but he is what he has always been. Pedestrian is a kind description to Lindelof's game. The way I see Jose's game plan, it first relies on a solid defence to fire upfront. We were anything but solid vs Huddersfield.
The only positive I've seen was Lukaku not shitting himself by giving carving the assist to Rashford. Usually, he's not very decisive giving two touches on the ball despite being a good finisher.

Saturday was a disgrace. They just didn't put the effort in. Wow. That's incredible. Ferguson is a fucking living legend. That never say die attitude came from him. He radiated that sheer will. Time for Jose to do some managing too. Gather a smile , gather some energy and motivate those witless fuckers to perform.

Saturday was a disgrace. They just didn't put the effort in. That is my biggest concern, why would they just not put in effort? That is the basic for any sportsman and more especially those at the highest level and at the biggest clubs. The referee has nothing to do with attitude, effort and hardwork, rather than even blame a ref we need to take ot out of their hands and do our jobs. What kind of baffles me if Pep understands his team cant defend that well so he has concentrated on what they do well which is attack and they have the personnel for it. We have an array of attacking talent that need to be unleashed if games against what is deemed lower opposition. Anyway ashamed of the application of the team and they should be too
