That is like the worst comparison ever. None of those players made the grade here although Blomqvist struggled with injuries. Mkhitaryan is supposed to be the main creative force in our side and he's actually quite an experienced player, though you wouldn't know it. Mikki is not the supposed to be the main creative FORCE. He usually plays in a front 3, he's not even a classic 10. Ask Hazard to fucking run around tracking and pressing and augment the MF as well as being the creative FORCE and see what you end up with.. Hint (A TRANSFER REQUEST) or the season he had when Mourinho was fired. Was he that bad before the break? He cost us 25M in todays market it's pretty average amount for a player like that. He's a decent player when played right in the right formation. If Mourinho had three MF players yesterday he would have played them. He's been shit in the last 4 games for sure, but he's hardly alone in that team Yes. Better stat-padding, but overall yes. Also he has been shit for the best part of a season and a half.

Looking at Chelsea's goal again, why in the fuck does our CB of a three finish higher up the pitch than SIX of the rest of our team? Was it a counter-attack or something? S M A L L I N G M A L L I N G N I L L A M S Seriously though, Smalling went looking for Bakayoko, already covered by Matic, and left Morata open. Even Bailly was a tad off position I thought. It was a collective brainfart.

I think some of the stick for our creative players is unfair. Outside of Neymar et al, Mkhi, Martial and Mata are some of the best in the world. In my opinion the issue at United is they are used in a midfield role with defensive shackles when they are really attackers who need to be starting in a higher area of the pitch. To show their best they should be the outlet when we win the ball back but instead are positioned as part of the defensive unit. It could be argued the players aren't right for the system though it could equally be said the system isn't right for the players. Imagine Chelsea had a MF yesterday of Alonso and Babayako and Hazard was asked to play deeper and create. I think the critiscism of Mikki is fair at times but he runs around tracking supplanting that MF which is a disaster. The same with Lukaku the service he gets has been awful, but he's clearly limited at the moment too when asked to play a certain way. Lukaku and Mikki both deserve criticism, but sometimes you just can't force a square peg into a round hole. Also, what is this drivel? How is Alonso (a full back/wing back), Bakayoko and Hazard in a three the same as Matic and Herrera in a two? Mkhitaryan was allegedly in the gap between our two man midfield and our two forwards. Except he wasn't, because he didn't turn up at all.

Apart from the top level of Neymar, Ronaldo, Messi, Hazard, which players are so much better than Mkhi? Is he any worse than Blomqvist, Kagawa, Nani, etc? I don't think so. Mate.

Bailly should have then been covering Morata as he can see the danger (it was behind Smalling) and Valencia should have come across to cover Bailly's runner. The problem was the massive gap left by Jones not being there. Also nobody closing down the cross, which probably should have been Young who in turn was far too deep. Unless there was a right winger out of shot Young had to cover.

Gotze, Reus (usually injured), Muller, Costa, Pjanic, Dybala, Bale, Griezmann, Robben, Silva, Sanchez, Di Maria, Ozil, Isco, De Bruyne, Koke, Rodriguez, Eriksen, Lamela (and he's fucking injured), Ribery, Willian, Pedro, Firminio, Meyer, Werner, Salah, Asensio, Nah, can't think of any whatsoever. Anymore shite you would like to spout? 70% of those players play in a different position. Reus for example was the main beneficiary of Mikkis last season as player of the year in Germany. Di Maria? really Ozil people are dreaming. The poster was asking about United players anyway not a list of players at the worlds top clubs. Half of whome cost around 100m No they don't. They can all play across the midfield, same as Mikhi, in any attacking position needed. I ain't getting into any pseudo-position shit.

I had to see the clip again and you're right. I missed Jones and Young completely knocking off there. It should have been Young going to Azpilicueta and Jones should have helped Matic to track Bakayoko. Smalling though, he should realise that Bakayoko isn't scoring from the area he is running into. Not with his feet, neither with his head. He is far too much on the side to get much out of it. Smalling should have stuck to Morata I feel and tried to jump in front of him or something. Entire defense fucked up, but for me Smalling is still key.

Anyway no matter how bad it seems right now. You could be a Hammers fan at the bottom of the league and MOYES INCOMING!!!!! Maybe they too could have an inspirational stand by your manager speech? Had I not been drawn into that ,the penny would have dropped earlier that Moyes was fecking useless. Fergie sold me a dud big time.

That tit will make zero difference. Look at Sunderland.

Said it before, I'll say it again. Nani was the best winger in the league for 18 months. Mkhitaryan's not even the best drummer in the Beatles.
