Why was the Roy Keane thread closed? What sort of United forum is it that doesn't allow discussion of the most successful captain in the club's history?
Can someone please direct me to the Republik's approved list of managerial/assistant-manager candidates and general talking points because I didn't see it on the way in?

I think if this was the title of the original thread it wouldn't have been an issue. In general, to answer your question, we don't tend to have loads of potential new manager/peanut gallery threads of such fine ilk as the Keano abomination so that's probably why you missed it on the way in. Please feel free to place the praise you deem necessary for Keane in here, as a tributory thread- I'm sure it will garner the necessary attention as such. Incidentally, have you considered writing a book on Keano as United manager? I mean, even as a spoof it would be worth reading to a few shattered souls around the World. I once had a similar drive and conviction about an idea - I went ahead and wrote a thesis on it. |

Maybe he will come back here though , I hope he does To answer your question from the other day, Keanes Win % is 38.7. Poch's is only 43.5% so maybe he would be worth a shot? Especially as Poch is the new "messiah". He has a 100% record against Leeds, Northampton, Millwall, Exeter, Southend, Crewe & Shrewsbury though, so if Jose gets us relegated (at least twice) then at least we know we will be safe in Roys hands. He has a 0% record against Chelsea, Liverpool, City & Everton though, so that might present a problem in the PL. Although he does have a draw against Stoke, Watford, Arsenal & Swansea and a win each over Palace, West Ham, Newcastle & Soton in his favour. Plus with 2 wins over West Brom, Leicester & Spurs we might be lucky and avoid relegation. Maybe. |
