For me Stone Cold has taken his game up a notch through work, don't feel this form is a fluke that will end soon, in fact, I think he will continue to get better. Always has played hard, IMO, an left it on the pitch. His improvements come in positioning instead of running like a chicken with his head cut off, and ball handling/passing and most especially his shooting..
He has made some incredible strikes, and that is from practice. This kid is going to be a great player if he stays healthy, an keeps up the work ethic.
Really like the young talent that United have, spend in transfer market wisely and invest in the youth FTW!

I reckon quite a few of you need to be posting in the “ hilariously proven wrong thread” in regards to Jesse. I was literally just about to say this. I'll wait until he's done this over a whole season before deciding I was totally wrong about how incredible he is. He's in the middle of a purple patch at the moment, and playing out of his skin. But it's been for about 8 weeks, prior to that he was his usual self. All running and very little product. Just like we shouldn't write a top class player off when his form drops for a couple of months, lets not hype up an average performer who has a patch when everything they hit goes in. Not hating on the kid, he's our star man at the moment and deserves to be starting every week; but I'm not about the proclaim him the next coming of Ronaldo just yet. Balls to that - ITS ALL ABOARD THE CARRIED AWAY TRAIN!! Not me, I ALWAYS loved the lad 😂😂

Lingard to the rescue again, the lad is having a very good second half to the season.

Need to freekin sing Thunderstruck for Jesse every time he nails one. I like listening to AC/DC and other mellow type music when watching matches, turn the sound down and crank up the tunes and don't forget to flick the Bic ADD This game excited me more than any other this season, yes, call them inferior, but anyone can be difficult if they park the bus, and I thought County played well as possible. Have been other matches like this where it felt like the players almost gave up, no quit in them today, they kept after it and kept after it.

Enjoyable second half. Lingard's strike was a bullet, almost no back lift. Lukaku did very well for his goal too, although maybe a bit of luck the keeper didn't save the shot. Hopefully it helps his confidence because lord knows he's starting every match. Herrera excellent, Shaw excellent. Even Blind had a pretty good game. Lindelof with some great long range passing. Not a bad match. Still hoping Fellaini is off this window.

M.E.N. didn’t rate Herrera for some reason.
I thought Pogba was sublime at times...

They need to get Lingard to take shooting training. They'll all be banging them in in no time.

I think J'messi is benefiting from having Juan around. I could be wrong but his form is coinciding with Mata getting a run. He definitely looks as though he is playing with some confidence. Keep it up fella.

Happy to be proven wrong. Was the same with Darren Fletcher. Kieran Richardson on other hand...

That really should be it for Miki in a United shirt as well.
His mentality was questioned before we signed him, a lot of people on here didn't think he had what it took, and it's looking like they're being proved right.
He has the talent, but his head looks like it's gone completely. Fuck him off, use him as an exchange for someone else if the buying club has someone we're interested in.
I know he's only 17, but give Gomes the odd bit of game time Miki would have got for the remainder of the season. Giggs, Owen, Rashford, Fowler, Sterling, Rooney,Ronaldo; all getting 1st team games at 17, lets give this kid some action. He couldn't do any worse than Miki that's for damn sure.

Happy to be proven wrong. Was the same with Darren Fletcher. Kieran Richardson on other hand... It happens. I too was way off the mark with Fletcher, thought he would never be good enough. Swallowed my words for a good while. Lingard has always played in a similar vein to how he's playing now, the only difference is many of those near-misses and shots hitting the post have started going in - the resulting upturn in confidence has been glorious to witness. Some truly stunning goals in his repertoire by now, that winner in the FA Cup was such a stunner too - fucking bang!

Bestie and think it was maybe Stew questioned his mentality from day 1. His 5 yard passes were hit at the wrong pace today. Awful.
