what is truly remarkable about lingards goals is not only that a lot of them are pure beauties but also the importance of them.
so many of his goals have come very late in games where we just needed someone to score and save our ass.
dont want to jinx it but he seems like the kind of "big game" player.the one who is not the most talented but the one who is most likely to score when your team needs something.
really happy for the lad.he's been a revelation this past month and a half

He just needed to be consistent. Jesse is one Van Gaal got right. He was ready to play him from the start, he got injured and he still brought him in next season. He got his fair share wrong but he did well with the young players. |

Its probably already been posted but cant be arsed reading back through all the lingard pages but there was a quote from fergie a few years back about jesse saying hes got everything to be a top class player but wont show it until hes about 23 looks like he may of been right, hes been superb these last few weeks

I think there was some leg pulling. I hope so otherwise things are getting out of hand.
Also, I did share some reservations about Miki. Not as loud as Bestie in voicing them but he was always a man that seemed to hide when the heat was on at Dortmund. A great player when you're 3-0 up, worthless in a tight game of the highest importance. Or a real 'Jamie Redknapp' as me and my mates would call those types of players.
