Good result but should have had 3 esilt with some better decisions/passes from Pogba and Martial. MOTD analysed it well last night we get into great positions so many times and then don't take the chances. Pogba twice glaring pases after good play one poor delayed pass to Lukaku then the second and worst one of all he had twop players either side open both strikers and fucking blasts it. Martila is a super finnisher, but needs to up some of his passsing last ball. We got away with it yesterday, they could easily have got a dra and this happens a lot! We really need a demanding, driven, top class experienced forward to imrove on huge potential? Anyone got any ideas who?

The above two situations are unforgivable if I am the manager. Pogba deserves a pass because this is a rare gaffe , considering his recent form, but he SHOULDN'T get one. Rashford however, hasn't learned from Leicester. That cost us 2 points as far as I'm concerned, and this cost us a surefire goal. He needs to sharpen his decision making . I hope he can learn from Sanchez. EDIT : I've just seen that Pogba had Martial on his left. Fuck that. He deserves a solid rollicking for that shit.

If I am Rom watching the tape today and I see that, I’m fuming. Easy brace for him if either player pulls their finger out.

I'm a bit torn about this one . I'm aware of his standing in the game but imo there is too much outrage in any perceived disrespect shown . Was it just a minutes silence at the Everton game or did all clubs do it? Every week there seems to be a minutes silence for something or other. It has lost its significance.

Just watched that goal a few more times and you really have to hand it to Lukaku for the amazing set up. Martial should have run straight to Lukaku instead of the cameras. Lukaku brought a tough ball down with a player on his back, got fouled, turned and skipped through two players, held off a third, cut back inside and pinged a perfect pass across field and through two defenders for Martial. Lukaku now has 11 goals and 5 assists in the league (Morata 10 and 4, Kane 21 and 1). What's the minimum you'd think to qualify as a successful first season? Somewhere around the 20 mark

At least you don't have to hear the national anthem before every game, like they insist on doing in the US. I've never heard of Cyril Regis, sorry. There is enough shit going on in the world that both clubs at every game could have armbands and minutes of silence. Not sure about this one because it's a nice gesture, a simple gesture, but... A minute's silence for someone like Bradley Lowery seems to make more sense, it's something that transcended football and sport, and actually made me proud of humanity. And if we were the only club in the Prem to not wear an armband, that's just bad PR regardless of anyone's feelings on the subject. A needless own-goal. Never heard of him either tbh.

Who scored the other three goals? I thought it finished 1-0.

If you're doing it for pr reasons then the sentiment is lost imo. Armbands should be reserved for your clubs own players or a big national figure, such as a high profile member of the 66 World Cup team or someone like Graham Taylor for example. Its like all the fawning by the press over Graham Taylor when he died when his treatment by them previously was nothing short of disgraceful. It feels a bit hollow tbh.

Has to be a minimum with the significantly better service he gets. Last year he got 25 PL goals in 37 games. He'll have to step up to match that this season.

Jose really needs to get them to sort that shit out...

He's a striker. If he doesn't score goals then what's the point.
