Overall, yes. As posted ^^ anybody can pull out a cup run to save a season. (c. f. Manchester United F. C., 2016-2017) but the proper yardstick is the League. In which we are miles off the pace. I don't disagree with that. But its the Champions League, and to me that's huge. Anything that gets us closer to being able to extinguish that fucking 5 times bullshit is obviously worth it, but Bestie is right, the league is the only true barometer of where we are at the moment. Obviously this season is a bust for that, and I'm happy for Jose to get another crack next season, but we have to seriously start stamping our mark down otherwise we just become as irrelevant as all the other also rans. |

Just a quick 1 if jose finishes the season with out a trophy and we loose the lg by miles which its looking very likely should he get the boot? If we do then we have basically turned into Real Madrid/Chelsea/other circus franchise. Anchelloti was sacked from both Madrid and Chelsea for failing to win a trophy during a season. That decision is still as bad today as it was then. |

Alexis didnt even create a single chance at goal yesterday.... for someone that last week earned 300k but since had a raise to 800k a week this isn't great

It's a toss up for the worst part of last night's abomination. Either the complete inevitablity of it when a big team lines up against us or the total deflation at the result. I try to be positive, optimistic andI bullish. But being second really does mean fuck all. Previously I've said that being relevant in May is what is important this season. Well we won't be. Mourinho has failed this season. Doesn't matter what we do in Europe or the FA Cup. The League is the measuring stick and we have fallen way, way short. If we win the CL will you change your mind ? 😉 This is not happening, if he sets us up against the likes of Spurs, Vermin, City, Chelsea then can you imagine how he'd set us up against the likes of Bayern or PSG...fuck that thank you. Worst thing is we'll comfortably beat Huddersfield on the weekend and all will be fine again. Just constantly papering over cracks with Jose this season. Same issues over and over. We can all rip the piss out of city's spending but look at where they are, they've won the league, a cup final, possible 2 more. I hhare the bitter cunts but we look a million miles away from them right now and it fucking pisses me off having to admit that. Jose has a huge part to play in that, he's still not got it right up with substitutions, tactics, formations, lineups. You look at any of the other top 6 sides, they don't have these problems. We're one loss away from slipping into 4th when we should be clear ahead in 2nd. I accept you're going to get games where your shit, every teams has them. We seem to have them in most away games, not just the top 6 either. How many times do we have to highlight this before something is done, |

Pool and Chelsea shouldn't have won their last CL but they did. How many times have we been the better team in Europe and got knocked out? I wouldn't rule anything out. |

I don't think you can expect a player to parachute into a new team and do it from day 1 and we were awful last night! Yeovil town is a different planet, where Lukaku and Herrera score  It was disruption more than anything last night and there is a touch of the Rooney with him floating deep and playing diaganols etc. That's Pogbas Job, Jose needs to clarify his position, but last night was not his fault |
