Ethan Hamilton travelled with the team instead. Played last night for the U23s so I doubt we'll se him. He's not a bad player tbf. But tough considering he played last night and got a chasing. Might get 10 mins out of him in an emergency? |

Without Pogba or Herrera I think we have no option but to go with 2 in midfield. Don't fancy a midfield 3 of Matic, Carrick and McTominay at all, should be Matic/McTominay by rights.

If anyone should have been rested in this it's Matic. He has to go again on Wed night in Sevilla and then again against Chelsea. I understand it's not possible with our MF situation, but it's pretty bad!

It would be nice to get a decent lead and see some more of Gomes. Problem is, I can't see a decent lead coming from that starting line-up.
