He's just sore because had Liverpool played some so called anti football over the years they might have more to show for their claims that they are still relevant. That's it. Keep banging on about the deficiencies of others. That'll gloss over the fact our style of football is legitimately fucking soul-destroying. Why should I pay attention to some ex sour faced Scouser? Maybe all their great football glosses over that they haven't won shit for years?

Didn't see it as at some stupid dinner. Away goal would have been good but they haven't lost at home for ages. So 0-0 acceptable , not ideal but acceptable . Still on the tie move on

Still on the tie move on It wasn't ideal and it certainly wasn't acceptable. The moment we settle for that fact that these results/ performances are acceptable then we may as well not bother to even qualify. We're the only British side in the competition that under performed, the rest not only performed well but excelled in their matches. We just bumbled about like it was the 2nd leg and we were 5-0 up in the first. Its a piss take, Jose is taking the piss as well, you play your best XI in these competitions, not half of them on the bench and one or two not even in the squad. But yet again all those cracks will be smoothed over until the next time.

I hope looking at his bank balance gives Sanchez satisfaction, as he can't be getting any from playing with this load of tosh.

0-0 is a good away result if we were at the Bernabeu, Nou Camp or Allianz arena. But this is Sevilla away, a team with not the strongest of defensive records. We should be playing much better football with the players we have.

Unfortunately this is exactly what you get with Mourinho. Picks on players, picks on opposing managers, puts 10 behind the ball in away matches, and recruits some of the very best players on the planet.
United will be lucky to keep all of the young talent on this squad.
That said - United are still in the tie and can hopefully nick a goal during the next 95 minutes of defensive football.

Reckon that midfield should start against Chelsea and beyond.
Matic is class, McTominay is becoming more and more dynamic and Pogba gets to prance forward.

Jose was forced into that midfield and it should have been the one we started with...even then we played stale boring football... Watched it in the pub last night with a mate who is a Spurs fan. I was embarrassed...

I feel sorry for our fans who wasted there hard earned money going to watch that last night. what an absolute shit show. we play with no purpose, no control, no system of attacking. we are so lucky to still be in this tie. if it wasn't for DDG we would be beaten simple as that. we have attacking players that aren't allowed to attack, or coached in attacking methods. our team is based on defending first, but that is pointless when the defence cant defend. lost all hope of Smalling.
the only bit of positivity I got last night was McTominay was our best outfield player last night by a mile. he should be in the rest of the season.
I so wish Herrera didn't get injured as Pogba was a disgrace. what an absolutely shocking performance. he walks round the pitch, players pass round him with ease, his passing and decisions were rubbish. I didn't see one thing last night night to warrant his price tag or even a place in the starting line up.
sanchez - whats he actually done since joining ? he runs round a lot and puts in loads of effort but hes not changing games for us. whats his actually position too ? where is he getting deployed ? because if its LW, I think we were playing better with Martial on the left.
Lukaku - back to his old self. crap touches, crap passing, offered bit of a target and albeit the service wasn't there. he didn't do anything himself either though.
why are our forwards not getting the service? why is no1 playing forward passes with precision and purpose? why cant nobody cross the fucking ball?
were so far behind its awful to see

Yet another uninspiring performance and we have to thank De Gea for once again keeping us in the game. I know we weren’t under intense constant pressure but it was still a poor general display. It’s even more disappointing when you look at the results that other British teams got in Europe, even allowing for the standard of opposition. I don’t expect us to win every game 5-0, but with the attacking players we have, and the squad in general, we really should be better than this. I honestly can’t remember the last time we played in the “United way” which is attacking, exciting football and going out trying to win the game and not going out trying not to lose it. Yes there is a difference between the two. Very disappointing but also very predictable.
