Why should I pay attention to some ex sour faced Scouser? Maybe all their great football glosses over that they haven't won shit for years? Because on this occasion, he's actually talking sense? RE the RTE panels reaction. Whatever about Didi. It was Liam Brady's emotion about it that was striking. Quote "This is Manchester United we are talking and they are playing football like that, its chaotic and there is no plan or progression. Mourinho is lost. He's not right for that club. Then he actually said "The Manchester United manager is across the other side of the City" Even Damian Duff, Mourinhos man was struggling to defend him. They also said that De Bruyne would be ordinary in that team under Mourinho. That isn't far fetched you only have to look back 3 years to his time at Chelsea see Shaw, Martial, Rashford, Pogba, Mikki( yeah he was crap, but he didn't get much support. There is a pattern with young creative players.

I know it's gloomy, but we were playing some lovely stuff this season before Pogba's injury, hoping we can rekindle that and build some momentum for the rest of the season. Still a lot to play for. When? the games against those bottom clubs in meltdown at the start? We have been terrible in all the games against the bigger clubs bar Arsenal. I can't even see us finishing 4th

Cant all be just a coincidence that we sign Sanchez and he hasn't been great, sign Lukaku and hasn't been great, Pogba hasn't been great, Martial gets dropped (as Stew points out for no good reason). Rashford hasn't been great. In my opinion this would all be different under a different manager right now. God help us on Sunday. He was awful against Newcastle and missed enough chances. He should start against Chelsea though.

Do you think the Glazers would allow him to replace our back 4 plus back ups like City have done ? He picks his projects well.

Wonder why so many of these players have low confidence.

If Jose wants to play this defensive style so be it, but when he’s letting the other team have 25 attempts at goal and relying on the brilliance of De Gea then his tactics are failing. Look at how Conte dealt with Barca, they sat back and limited their chances. They played with a false 9 and pace up front. Only an error led to the Messi goal. Jose getting out jose’d by Conte.

The Martial and Marcus show was working on the left. When one underperformed, the other would come in and play well. They're young, so inconsistencies should be expected in their performance levels. It's really sad to see Sanchez come in and break that up.
I'd have genuinely rather not signed him if I knew this would happen.

Spot on. A better attacking side than Sevilla would’ve scored 2 or more before half time.

Let's be honest, if City had Mourinho and we had Guardiola, we'd be the ones with a 16 point lead.

A few years go they was probably close in terms of being the top manager at this momemt in time peps lightyears ahead of him

Was it really that lovely though? It was in comparison to a lot of the shite we've played under Mourinho, but lets not kid ourselves, the majority of this good football came towards the very end of matches that glossed over what was largely a mediocre performance for 60-70mins. You watch the likes of Spurs and City and the general style and quality of their play is on a totally different level to ours. Can you ever imagine us doing what Spurs did to Juve the other day? Not a fucking chance with Mourinho in charge. Not a great deal left to play for to be honest, not unless Mourinho can pull off another masterclass of parking the bus and scraping some 1-0 wins together in the CL.
