If he does then I'd expect Bailley, Smalling and Lindelof at the back with Tony and Young WB.
Midfield Pogba, Matic and McTominay with Sanchez playing off Lukaku.
Or maybe I'm wrong as fuck, who knows.

As much as it would hurt, I’d rather lose after a good attacking game than force a bore-draw. It embarrasses me when we are cagey and one-dimensional at home, it’s just not right.
As good as their attacking force is, surely ours is potentially as good, if not better, if only they’d all play to their strengths and capabilities at the same time!
Time to step up Pogba and Sanchez, make us proud. 2 - 0 United. Come on!!

He'd been in brilliant form the preceding couple of months and then he was terrible in this fixture (and the same was true for Carrick too). I remember being annoyed because they were so crap they couldn't get the ball out to Martial who had Alexander-Arnold absolutely shitting himself. Jose then took Martial off which I still think is one of his worst subs to date, and I saw several people say how well Alexander-Arnold played which was bollocks - he was just lucky we couldn't pass the ball to Martial. |

He's already fucked me off with the possibility of them bagging the trophy and a listening to them bang on about it when we go to their council house on my birthday, add this to that list and he and half the player can get fucked. |

That's a run I really don't want to keep up. Every time we do worse than them it's torture. (edit: in fairness one of those two seasons saw us still do better overall due to winning the Europa, but I still hate finishing behind them. They play annoyingly good football already, so if they finish above us and we don't win a major trophy to compensate there'll be big questions to be answered. If you don't have trophies, good football, or being better than the scousers, what do you actually have? |

also think we will be going into this 3-5-2 for this. but that means it will be 5-3-2- as we cant afford to leave any space down our flanks where Mane and Salah operate. either of them 1 on 1 against Smalling / Lindelof is a penalty waiting to happen
